How are we supposed to black pip???
Every game someone kills himself, or DC or is basically killing you. Right now I had a game where a guy DCd by literally no reason, and the other two killed their selfs, how are we even supposed to black pip like this? When someone DC on the start of the match we are supposed to at least black pip since it was not OUR fault. Fix that BHVR

isnt it already really easy to pip as a survivor. Also i might just be the rank you're at maybe.

Idk, ask the Survivors i face.
They keep being super-high ranks, and i'm still late green/early purple.

When someone DC it makes harder to every remaining survivors since the killer needs to put pressure only on 3 survivors instead of 4

If you're struggling to pip, it's actually for the better that youre depipping. Then you'll have a higher chance to meet killers that are closer to your experience level.

Right, if you're struggling to pip you are about where you should be in rank.

Did you read what I Sayed?

yes

Yes, you're struggling to safety pip, it should not be ez if you are in the correct ranks.
If you are depipping your ranked higher than you should be, if your pipping ez, you are too low.

Try to pip with basically no benelovent points because everyone killed their self or DCed, what also makes harder to get other points like objectives since you are the last one and you are trying to find a hatch not do gens

Unless you are red rank you can pip even by playing half the game. I got back to dbd 4 days ago after a long time, starting rank 20 and im now rank 2. Just trolling around with flashlight in soloQ with all those dcs, dead on hook, blendettes. I didnt pip only a couple of times cause I made a mistake a got hooked and Ive been left there for the ehole 3 stages :(

So what you're both saying is basically "You don't belong at that rank because other people are costing you your rank and it's working fine. It has nothing to do with your skill level, it's all to do with the randomness of matchmaking." right? Did I miss anything there?
Why should we be punished because of others?

Once again, why I swf!

I been there before. Three team mates got hooked, all of them kill themselves on first hook. Leaving me alone, with no time to do anything. The killer didn't even bring a mori and wasn't even face camping. They just did it for no bloody reason i could think of. Leading to a short game, with few blood points and a free depip. Like it just seems impossible to get a safely pip when that happens, all of your team mates give up for no real reason. So you are left no time at all, to do gens, break totems, you can't save anyone, heal up other survivors. That and any chase would be super risky, since you are the last one left.
Unless the killer is very understanding or merciful. Odds are you are going to depip. Which the thing i always want to know is why my team mates killed themselves. For they didn't just screw over their fellow survivor but also the killer, by denying both of them points.

I guess, I considered you could be a killer or a survivor.
As a survivor, as many solos may affirm, you definitely need competent teamates to give you a better chance of pipping.
Anyone can pip from time to time, which if you play solo should happen.
If you are constantly struggling to safety pip, well my guess is as I've said before.
"If you run into an ahole in the morning, well you ran into an ahole, if you run into aholes all day, well you may be the ahole."

Get on the Dead by Daylight Discord, get yourself a SWF.
There you go. I mean it, it helps a ton.

Well, I've cheated a bit and based my reply on other posts that I have read from this person. I just gave them advice that I thought might be useful.
I'm aware what I said doesn't address what they complained about in their post (i.e. depipping) directly, but it's just so difficult to take complaints about rank seriously..

"If your team mates quit 30 seconds in and leave you at a 2v1, and you struggle to safety pip in a broken ranking system, you clearly don't belong in the rank you're at that has nothing to do whatsoever with skill and more to do with the amount of time you play."
The logic here, lmaooooo

Yeah, I tend to ignore any history that I have with someone on here, and just go post-by-post. I might see someone's name I know and have had problems with and think "Oh, god. Not this guy again. Here we go!" but sometimes you find a post that you agree with from them.
