The game is still unfun for the killers.

I'd argue that good killers have always said they wanted fun matches. It was survivors who would say that all killers wanted easy 4ks.

Correct <3 This is what I was saying in this thread. People need learn how to read tbh.

I don't know. I have to say that as of right now if you're having issues getting kills at any rank or not having fun playing killer then killer just is not for you.

So far as killer this update has felt great. I no longer have a feeling of dread when going to most of the maps. 👍️

The topic is not about skill here in the first place. I mean, of course skill&fun can exist together, but that is not necessary to have fun.
Sometimes I need to shake my head, why it is so hard to explain on this forums the word "fun". The opposit -unfun- is so often used here, that I thought, that the most people know what fun is^^. After all, nobody can know what unfun is, when he lacks the knoweldge of what fun is.

What do you mean it has nothing to do with matchmaking?
As I stated before, if you are a high rank playing swf with a low rank friend, finding a match might take longer than usual.

Ahh, they battle cry of obvious survivor main bait, "Just pressure gens." Its becoming a classic its so old and I'm hearing it so much.

I dont want to speak badly about anyone, not about you, this is a forum and i'm not superior to anyone but my opinion is that most % of people with those statement "The game is still unfun for the killers" have seriously problems with perks (not using correct ones, not so many perks choice, etc....), they are not using properly the killer or they dont have many hours in game ....
I understand , to play Killer can be frustrating first 10,20,30 hours but when you have a huge amount of perks (and hours) it starts to become a funny, challenging and interesting game experience.
Some notes:
- Developers did last updates thinking to people like you. I am sure you dont have so many hours in game. If you still have problems listen my advice, try to unlock as many killer perks as possible.
- Play as much as possible not only Killer, try to play Surv/Killer so you understand as many tricks as possible.
- Try to play surv with some friends, possible with more hours than you so you can improve faster your gameplay.
Have fun !

Really now?
I had a match yesterday on mothers dwelling as a billy and it went like this.
Walk to middle building, walk up the stairs, chainsaw dance with the guy on the gen, he dropped down, i dropped down, i chainsawed. I walk to the hook and place him on the hook and..... 3 gens pop
I guess the map size is my fault tho right?

I AM SURE you fit in one of those points:
- You dont have many hours in game = They fool you ez, you start a never ending chase and someone does, in the meantime, gensss. (You solve this problem with hours and playing both sides, surv and killer)
- You dont have many perks = 99% of the problems of people that just start to play (if you dont have basic perks as Killer, life is hard)
- You have perks but you are not using the best perks according your gamestyle (it happens)
- You are not using properly the killer = You dont have many hours in game ....
- You are not using basic perks like pop, ruin, corrupt intervention, tatanofia or dying light = to fight a gen rush and to slowdown the game

Nothing much has changed for me since the update. i still get kills and stay at red ranks. The times I lose are when I face competent survivors, make crucial mistakes (committing to long to a chase etc.) or if I play a killer out of my comfort zone.

Well, luckily I'm not a survivor main.
There's always going to be games of SWF team 6 that just screw your match up but 90% of matches isn't that (in my experience on PS4). Now that ranks are ever worse I'm getting... really questionable survivors, to put it lightly. But with reduced map sizes and infinites/really strong loops gone, this allows me to actually get the downs needed to actually pressure the survivors. I've been going for all the killer adepts at rank 1 (except I refuse to go for plague because her emblems are just broken) and most of my adept games ended in a 4k and the achievement first try. Of course, you can be just have an entire different experience from mine and we live total different words.

I play both sides from about 3 years frequently. I don't wanna play SWF. It's too ez and boring for me. I play only solo. And don't worry I know a lot of tricks as the killer and survivor.

Thanks for reply but your statement contradicts initial statement ""Honestly this update changed nothing. Devs must finally admit that there is no problem with gen effifency, but with overly with gens and how easily they can be done without any effort by a good SWF". I would say rework finally the objectives. The game will never be balanced if you guys not gonna look at the survivors objectives overly."
- If you really knew a lot of tricks as killer you would understand that to play Killer is funny.
- If you played enough hours you would understand that last update is Killer friendly...
- If you were a good "killer" you would understand that last update has removed many safe zones to reduce chase time.
if you still dont understand those points, you insist on saying that surv have ez life and this game is not balanced, you have ham in front of your eyes...... game is more balanced than ever right now. and if you are not sure about that... probably you need to change your strat (probably it's time if you are playing from 3y) in game.

Yes, the last update is killer friendly, but it doesn't change too much, since the good survivors doesn't really care about the strong windows. Also because these windows had a less safe distance, it doesn't mean that they're bad. You can still use them as the survivor to get more distance. I didn't say survivor is easier than killers. It's definitely more chilling, but for the solo survivor it's the real nightmare, because you have no control at what your mates are doing and when it goes up to you to being chased, you can be pretty much screwed, because you can to the pallet that was already destroyed in earlier chases. But for SWF? It's definitely ez, they can communicate with each other and say what pallet was destroyed and which was not and can say to you what they're currently doing.

Then you've just proven my point, dude.

Yes, communicating helps a lot in game but it's not everything. A killer, i assume you know that well, has every perk in the world to make survivors life a nightmare (no im not speaking about freddy) and to slowdown, a bit, the game. These are the preconditions and it's your job to use your tools at the best. I use their weaknesses, errors in game and i have most of the times a 3 kill. And i'm not a twitch superstar, neither a youtuber. I had same problems vs survivors and i just started using a different killer (Freddy, Spirit, Nurse and Wraith).
I'm not teaching you anything just saying that probably you are concentrating yourself too much in a killer which is not suitable for you, for your gamestyle, and probably you are using a bad combo of perks and addons.

Killer on console is not comparable to killer on PC. Console controls are insanely survivor-sided so I can see why you think the entire game favors them if that's your only experience of the game.
I main both sides on PC and have been playing on the Switch a bit lately. I can safely say that playing Killer is a venture in masochism on console at least for the Nintendo Switch when compared to PC.
On PC, my kill count feels deserved.
