Why can't we ready up at 00:15 seconds?
I think it happened when dedicated servers were introduced
When the timer of the lobby reaches the 15th second, both sides aren't able to press the "READY" button anymore.
So,why is that Devs?

Yeah, I dont mind if it locks you in at that pt, but why cant you click the button? LOL

I think at 15 seconds, the game is locking you in whether you are ready or not.
So it's a pre-ready to the actual "ready"

It's such an odd decision though because you can still change your loadout/characters or leave the lobby from the 15th second till the 6th second.

Yeah I don't know why either.
I wish they removed it and made everyone ready either at 5 seconds or 15 seconds.I honestly just hate waiting for everyone to ready up.

I see it as more of a warning thing tbh

Sorry, but why does it matter? It's literally a matter of 9 seconds since you're locked in to play at 00:06 anyways. Seems pointless to complain about.

It's not about complaining.
Before dedicated servers you were able to ready up until the 6th second, but now only till tje 16th second.
I just want to know why it got changed.

I imagine it's to stop survivors from switching out their loadouts and then instantly pressing Ready so the killer doesn't have time to react, and to stop the killer from dodging the lobby in response to last-minute switches so they are forced to respond by changing their build rather than quitting altogether. Of course, it only partially succeeds in the former, since now survivors just switch out at the six-second mark to achieve much the same effect, which is only slightly riskier due to the careful timing required.
