Dull Totems Incentive Suggestion
Killers now break objects 5% faster for each dull totem standing on the map, or
The killer gets a 1% movement speed boost when a generator is completed, they lose this boost entirely when no dull totems are left standing on the map and NOED now gives 5% missed attack cooldown reduction per rank instead of a movement speed bonus.
To compensate, a sound notification will play for all players when a dull totem is broken.

I personally feel like killers are already buffed up, they don't need anything else. Think we should leave totems as is.

This would be super cool

I think that it would be better if for each dull totem still standing, the killer's movement speed would increase by 1% when the exit gates get powered. That way, survivors get a little bit if they don't cleanse all the totems, they still benefit from cleansing totems at the end-game, and killers get a slight boost as long as at least one totems still stands (or a large boost if the survivors did not cleanse any dulls).

I like my idea because it incentivizes dull totems earlier

Thanks for the feedback

There is an incentive, it's called Inner Strength.

I'd be down for that, but NOED would need to have the speed boost removed, otherwise NOED + this would be insane.

And stopping NOED.

That's like saying PGTW's existence is incentive for killers to kick gens
0 -
Nope. The cause of PGTW is to kick gens after hook, the effect is to slow down gen speed. The cause of Inner Strength is cleansing totems, the effect is an eight second heal. The incentive is the effect, not the cause.

I feel like movement speed changes are a bit iffy since bloodlust is a thing, It doesnt affect gens directly but it does let you chase a survivor faster when you are failing the chase. Also, Thrill of the Hunt already gives you a notification when people touch your totems, its a Hex perk.

Slowing down gen speed is not a good effect? Are you perhaps a newer player?

Survivors can't use Thrill of the Hunt

Is that what your suggesting? Because I never said that. Nor was that the point I was making.
