Franklin’s Demise Unintended CONSOLE-quences
Lovely perk, only problem is that it drops the item exactly where the survivor was hit, even in front of hooks and vaults. I’m sure my fellow console players know where I’m going with this, but those that don’t know the interaction button and pickup item button are mapped to the same RT/R1 button.
So, every so often instead of unhooking a survivor or vaulting something while in chase, the character is instead picking up an item (usually a useless brown medkit).
Solution(s):
-Allow console players the ability to remap the the pickup item button
-Change FD so that it will push items 3 meters out of range of any hook/interaction
-Prevent dropped items to be picked up when the killer is within 8 meters
Any thoughts on fixing this?

Honestly I've been playing for two years on PS4 and I've never had nor heard of this problem. Though I can't see it being a huge issue.

It can be a real problem especially when theres a camping killer; someone tries to unhook gets a whack and runs away, someone else tries to unhook right behind them and instead picks up their item...
Of course this is just one scenario

But its hilarious when a survivor tries to vault over a window but picks up the item instead.
I do this with demo where I would place a portal next to killer shack window so anyone who continues pressing vault tries to remove his portal.
BTW I never had this problem myself I don't continuously click valt until I get the prompt.

LOL! Well at least your honest. I just remembered this also kind of affects killers trying to pick up survivors near vaults/interactions.

I've had a problem a bunch of times. It's especially a problem in the basement, when someone dies and drops their item. Unhooking another, even if they're on the adjacent hook, becomes impossible unless you pick up the item.
If you already have one, all you do is swap items back and forth and watch the person die because you didn't have the interaction to unhook them.
