Will legion ever get buffed/reworked
I primarily play faceghost but I do play some legion and he is so frustrating. Legion used to be my number 1 killer I played I love the cosmetics, style, gameplay, but I feel he has been gutted. am I the only one feeling this way or is anyone else also

idk man, I think legion is pretty great.

I said in another thread: When Legion works, it WORKS. It can feel so oppressive, and I've had survivors say they were completely exasperated by how smothered they felt by the constant wounds, the punishment for sticking together, and the eventual snowball.
On the other hand, it often just doesn't work. At all. Then you just feel like a crappy M1 killer that just keeps stunning yourself.
Maybe that's just me not being good at it yet. Not sure!

Sigh....

They do need a rework badly, to make them interesting and not just an M1 killer that sometimes goes faster and can't down people.

The Legion are allmost in a fine spot, but no quite there yet. Being able to see blood and scratch marks immediatly at the end of Feral Frenzy is a nice little QoL change, but they could use more.
-No longer lose Frenzy gauge when you land a basic attack. There is no reason for this, as FF can't down a survivor. Attacking a wounded survivor with FF is allready a bad idea without the power penalty.
-Normalize Deep Wound duration from Feral Frenzy to 20 seconds, just ike all other sources of DW. There is no reason for it to be 30 seconds when caused by Feral Frenzy.
-Rework Frank's Mix Tape and Stab Wound Study into actually usefull add-ons. In their current state they are so bad they might as well not do anything and thoses are very rare add-ons. I think we know now that making FF lethal will always feel terrible if its actually viable, so just turn away from that design and make theses add-ons do something complelty different.

Hopefully never because heโs fine. Thereโs far more important killers to buff atm.

Yeah, I gotta agree. They're so close. I wish missing attacks in FF either didn't kick you, or only cut half your meter instead of depleting it.
But yeah, either buff Frank's mix tape or just change it entirely. There used to be add-ons that increased FF speed. Make FMT be the only one that does. Or better yet, since all the other tapes effect killer instinct now, have FMT change it to aura reading instead of killers instinct. Gives you a bonus for chasing with the draw back of not being able to find people in lockers anymore.
I think Stab Wound Study would be alright as is if they normalized DW timer as already suggested.

Here's the main problem with The Legion!
โ Deep Wounds doesn't pressure survivors to mend.
Survivors can monitor their Deep Wound timer and complete objectives with great efficiency. They know when they need to stop and mend.
They need to hide the Deep Wound timer from both roles, then make the timer only pause when they are within 24 meters to the killer (Since they can't see their timer decrease, survivors don't get any information). Survivors will always take a risk if they repair a generator (or anything other than mending) while in Deep Wounds. ๐

Legion is solid as is. They have the capability to get four people injured from the start of the match easily.

@JohnShark what do u want them to do. They're not supposed to be able to knock survivors to the dying state with their power and killer instinct is a big part of the ability it tells you where the survivors are.

I feel you. Legion is certainly a cool concept of a killer but the devs execution of it was slightly rough. Playing legion now feels like you are running in molasses half the time, no counterplay to chases, huge cooldown after frenzy, it's tremendously annoying to play sometimes.
I like the idea of being able to find and harm multiple survivors at once, but it's not like deep wound does anything anymore. I feel like deep wound is a very powerful mechanic that the devs can use to make legion strong. But they have yet to make it really interesting.
I'd like legion a lot more if deep wound actually was a frantic problem for survivors, but no. It's just a slight addition to healing. Maybe if deep wound would slowly tick down for each vault in a chase? I feel like that is a potential buff to legion. Getting looped just makes the survivor more weak. Maybe mending increases the timer a little bit so if they are at a vantage point, the survivor can choose to mend to gain an extra vault chance?
I fear this might be annoying on a survivor's end, but it could possibly be a useful tactic against people who can loop M1 killers to hell and back. With this change, I would think legion could be 110 again but maybe given a stronger frenzy to get more people deep wounded.

Yes! Extremely good idea! I feel like deep wound was an EXTREMELY disappointing status effect. It's basically just a little extra heal you can pull off yourself. I was also thinking it could possibly be worth trying to make deep wound's timer decrease slightly more with each vault. Maybe like 15% decrease with each vault? That gives a survivor about 6 vaults before their timer runs out. Then possibly change mending so that for how depleted your bar is, you have to mend an extra amount? So 8 seconds plus an entire bar would equal an additional 12 seconds? Then while mending, it restores your bar to full and then once full you begin the extra 8 second mend?
So basically,
You get hit. You vault 2 times. 30% of your bar is depleted, that means you have an additional 3.6 seconds to mend. If you're in a chase and are in a safe spot and don't want to run out of time, you could mend back half of that for 1.8 seconds and gain an additional vault.
Might be a concept worth brushing over in my opinion. Would reward survivors who take time in a chase to mend a little bit, also giving The Legion time to catch up. Then, if the survivor looping is insanely good and/or doesn't think mending is worth the time, they get downed. And if The Legion gets them close to down and leaves them, they still have a good amount of time to mend. 18.8 seconds would be the mend time after a chase if they vaulted 6 times without a 7th, leaving them 10% of their bar full.

In hindsight, I guess this doesn't really address the issue of survivors not in a chase too well..

Legion is in a pretty good spot right now. He is SOOOO close to being a good killer. There are only a few things they need to change.
- Increased Feral Frenzy movement speed. It's actually insane how Survivors can OUT RUN YOU.
- Decreased fatigue duration from 4 second to 3. Cold Dirt, Joey's Mix tape, and Julie's Mix tape changed to do something else.
- Scratch marks in Feral Frenzy.
- Franks Mix tape & Stab Wounds Study changed.
- Deep Wounds timer reduced to something like 15 seconds. So Survivors feel more pressured to mend.
- Reduced punishment for missed Feral Frenzy attacks. Jeez, If I had a dime every time I missed a Feral Frenzy attack due to "aim dressing".
- Give The Legion collision while vaulting.
- Pin add-ons need to apply to ALL Feral Frenzy attacks.
- Feral Frenzy needs to recharge at the beginning of fatigue instead of after.
- Friendship Bracelet, Never-sleep Pills, and Susie's Mix tape changed to do something more useful.
- Generator auras need to not disappear after the first Feral Frenzy attack. This would help out Fuming Mix tape.
Actually this list is really long, lmao.

Just give him a glock that insta kills anyone he shoots

No, you're not alone. There are also plenty of people who find Legion's power annoying, both to use and face.
That said I wouldn't hold my breath for a rework.
