Prestige Should Keep Perks
I don't understand this. Prestiging is so un-rewarding, you get a bloody outfit and a slight better chance at better add-ons, but the loss you get after putting 50 levels into one character is ridiculous. You lose everything, perks, add-ons, and offerings. At least let us keep the perks when we prestige a character, so the character is still playable after we prestige it.

Honestly? I would go all in for this, mainly because it would severely cut down the grind and it wouldn't make the game as much of a pain when you have a build you like but you want to prestige said character.

As was said above I would love if this was added because if you want to prestige you lose everything. I think you should keep perks, add ons, and offerings

I' not entirely against this, but I think you should have all perks that are unlocked on the character reset back to tier one. This way you would still have the perks, but not be overpowered from level 1.

I made a poll about this but everyone who voted in the poll can play this game 24/7 so you shouldn't waste your time writing about this

The point of prestige is starting over, if you keep your perks it ruins that effect. BHVR added prestige to give you something to play for. If you keep perks, you have less to play for in terms of grinding. They only care about replayability so don't count on something like this happening.

The point of prestige is starting from the bottom in exchange for rewards. The rewards are lacking. The grind overall just needs to be lowered by increasing base BP gains.

Honestly I would just want them to make it so they get rid of perk tiers

I’d say take it one step further and just remove prestige. Increase the character level cap to 200 and have a bloody cosmetic unlock at levels 51, 101, and 151 (the equivalent of level 1 at each prestige).

Yeah, I don't mind the grind for offerings, items, and add-ons again, but making that character entirely unplayable when the game is stressful enough already. It's a pretty poor game design choice if you ask me.

I really dislike that all my killers are stuck at level 50. I wish they would just increment the numbers to infinity, then I would at least know which killers need some bloodpoint love.
People will prestige their characters and never use the prestiged cosmetics. It seems wasteful when the grind is already so rough. I only took Ash to P3 because I thought he wouldn't get any cosmetics and I wanted the trophy. I should have prestiged Bubba instead.

I'll probably never prestige because of this. I don't care about bloody clothes I'll never wear anyway. I'd rather have all my perks at rank 3.
1 -
But if you prestige right now, your perks will also vanish...
So I don't get your logic here.
1 -
I don't prestige. I see no real reason to. Bloody clothes? Meh. Somewhat more rare items? Meh. Having the prestige logo on every character? It'd take me FOREVER to get there. I've got every perk on Meg, so I don't see why I'd prestige and lose all my perks when I could just keep them and never prestige.

I'd say something like...
Prestige resets character level to 1, removes everything like it does now, but doesn't have a counter on the character.
Each Prestige level instead increases Devotion by 1.
Each Devotion level increases BP gains by X%. (1%? I dunno. Whatever figure is balanced.)

I’d be fine with this, but I’d personally prefer a 20% cost decrease for bloodwebs per prestige. So at P3 everything would be 60% cheaper and you waste less points leveling a character you already put so much time into.
Look I know P3-ing someone is far easier than it used to be, but with how many perks we have now; it takes ######### FOREVER to max out ONE character (and that doesn’t even count item and addons).

And sometimes the prestige outfits are ugly af... i.e. Feng... why couldn't it have been her purple cardigan outfit? Smh
0 -
At least Feng's looks darker and it looks semi-decent, especially compared to Jeff, Zarina, and Nancy. Their prestiges are absolutely terrible, you can barely tell that they even have a prestige.
0 -
That's true. Feng's head is a mess though, even with the blood - still a beacon of light in a darker look.

Last I checked it takes arounr 30 million BP To get every Perk in the game on one character
1 -
Never did the math my self but holy ######### that's a lot. If they did do the 20% off per prestige idea it'd cut it down to only 12 mil (assuming you P3 the character).

I've done that with Zarina & Spirit and yes it took quite a lot.

This is also important, and something that doesn't make sense why the dev's chose to do prestige this way. You should have enough insentive to want to prestige your character. The point of it is to continue the games grind, and keep you playing, but if players have more incentive to just level a character to 50, and never prestige simply to guard their ability to play the game. They don't prestige, they dont' grind, and then the game may end up getting dull for them because there is less rewarding content.
Like I P3'd Freddy because I didn't think he will ever get cosmetics either, and will be in the same boat if they give Freddy more cosmetic's later. A waste of 2,000,000 bloodpoints.
