So this happened
Went in game as ghostface... got called a scrub and that I use a crutch perk... here is the kicker. They said only people who need the crutch perk bbq are noobs. I even carried one of them to the hatch..
What??? I'm so lost right now.

You should probably worry less about what people put in chat, they'll find anyway to irk you and it seems to have worked. If what they say is particularly egregious you should definitely report them at end game.

How did it irk me? My topic seems to have irked you. I'm just lost as to why its a crutch perk :)

I wish I got that message lol love seeing people saying stupid stuff like that. I just can send it to my mates and it makes for a good laugh.

Because they insulted you and your response was to create a forum post about it. The better way to go would be roll your eyes and/or laugh and moooove on. But to each their own.

Thats a big assumption. I feel like survivors hate it when you bring up their stupidity. But to each their own. Just like assuming its post-game chat when in console they add you to a group chat to talk. But again to each their own.

Just ignore it. You'll never survive DBD if you let this stuff bother you so much.

PEOPLE hate it when you bring up there stupidity. Its not just a survivor thing both sides do it

I wouldn't have thought it "irked" you solely off the original post, but when it followed with the old "I'm not mad you're mad!" it kind of made me change my mind a little.

That sounds like undue salt. BBQ is easily counterable and easy to detect if a Killer is using it.
I hate being carried to the hatch in a game where the Killer pwned my team. I'm gonna be annoyed either way for having a doodoo team or a sweaty, tryhard Killer. I prefer to die over a pity hatch. LOL I'd rather have that bundle of thoughtfulness sprinkled throughout the entire match than plopped down on one survivor at the end. I, admittedly, don't usually appreciate it.

Didn't know there was survivors who didn't like that. I'll keep that in mind. Usually I do it if the last one doesn't struggle too much.

GG,Move on to the next match.

I would just set my message settings to friends only if it bothers you. Thats what I have mines set to, solely because I don't care to read/listen to negative remarks/comments from the opposite party.

I know. It may be weird. I have experienced several killers who don't like it if you ######### at the end of a game when they had a bad match and know everyone could have escaped. I just think people don't want a pity win, they want to win legitimately. It just feels better.
If you really want to give someone a win because you dominated their match, just don't close the hatch or close it and don't pat the doors.
If I am trying to die in a match to give a Killer a sacrifice, I try and make it feel like a legitimate chase/down...unless they have completely given up. LOL It may be dumb, but I think anything you work for and achieve feels better than having it handed to you.

Imagine complaining about a perk that has 7 counters... LOL!
