Why are people saying that the DLC is releasing tomorrow?

100% rumor. Nothing has been confirmed yet. The wiki is where the speculation comes from, since it cites September 11th as the release date. That's based off of the release timing of the last chapter, where the DLC launched two weeks after the PTB. Although that's just silly because only one chapter has released that way so far, so it's like trying to spot a trend on a graph with only a single point.

Out of curiousity, did you create two threads with the same question? Because I've noticed several times now that duplicate posts have been made, I'm suspecting an issue with the forum.

Its a predicted time based on the times which other dlcs have been released in correlation to when their ptb ends.

I mean, as I told my stream, I'm not expecting it. Alot of people think it will be but I they haven't announced anything and purposefully said last week they won't announce a date then. Thursday seems more likely but I'm honestly expecting next week or the week after.
Which is mildly depressing. But not surprising.1 -
Most likely, the cosmetics will come tomorrow in the shop without the killer then Thursday will be the grand reveal to all platforms

It's released when it's released, and you can be sure BHVR will announce it via official channels when it's released - so if you can't find it there, then you can automatically deconfirm it!

TBH the "trend" is a release 1 or 2 weeks max from the trailer release... wich should match with the 11/9, i also don't belive that is the case, but the 1-2 week release after the trailer has been quite consistent with all DLC...

LIke mainy said it the new Chapter releasing today was just poor speculation based on the last two PTBs.
But I don't expect it to happen. First because the PTB version was more in a very ... let's say unfinished state. And also I expect them to wait out for a simultaneous platform release this time.
But I'm quite sure we are very close. Maybe thursday or the 18th.0 -

I'd like to think they would have "debunked" the rumour by now if it wasn't true... as I'm sure many people outside of the forums too (i.e. Twitter) have been speculating the 11th as the release date.

It’s probably (most likely) either today or in a couple days for PC. Console maybe a week or 2. Hence why they didn’t want to give an EXACT date because they didn’t know how long the certification process is0
