The only Candyman I know of, is the one in this old, cute song called Candyman. The one you guys are mentioning is probably the only horror movie killer I've never even heard of. Doesnt help that I dont watch horror movies cause of how easily I get scared, yet i know about the more popular ones. But at first, i thought we were gonna get Slenderman as a new killer. Would be nice to have a new blinker killer in the game. And have a new tallest killer.

Except the powers jason actually has is teleport walking, brute force, and immortality.
So without all the traps and setups hes just really boring. You expect the DBD devs to impliment environmental situational abilities for a killer? Trapper is almost definitely their version or jason. Mask. Machete. Strength. Traps.

I don't think it will be Jason. If anything the mask or face in the year 4 info most resembles one of the new candyman posters for myself. Since they would not be exact so its obvious we know the black, gold could represent the black honeycomb on the poster in the pic below and the gold the honey from the bees.

Yeah...and what about Michael? Isn’t his powers basically the same thing? Except he is even more immortal than Jason since Myers has NEVER died and Jason died in Part 4 to Jarvis. So no...Jason is not immortal at least until Part 6.
As I said...Trapper is loosely based on Jason aesthetic wise but Jason used traps ONCE in the entire franchise and that was in the remake. How is Trapper’s power ANYTHING like what Jason did in his movies? If anything Jason’s power would be based more around the stalking killer that can walk around with no terror radius, not Trapper. It would be boring to have another stalking killer but I would give them the benefit of the doubt to find a way to creatively make him unique.
The devs have already stated that Jason would have an open invitation in the game if they could ever get legal rights. What would his power be? I dunno, beats me. It still doesn’t change the fact that if they could ever get Jason in the game they would jump on that faster than a fat man seeing a birthday cake.

Thank you, this is the reason why I believe we'll eventually get Jason someday. He, like Pennywise, has a permanent invitation to this game. Also, like you said, have zero idea what his power would be because I'm not creative enough! xD

Like.. they CHOSE to depict "4" that way. Literally every other clue is a stretch, but this is way too on-the-nose to be coincidental imo. Also, Silent Hill would be the only franchise that would fit the "mysterious" survivor from Paulie's video.
To add to this, The Nurse is inspired by the nurses from Silent Hill. Silent Hill had 8 games in the series and two movies. This would also fit the "change the world of horror" wording in the teaser as well.
Also: The tweet from the BHVR employee that alluded to "bees" and "sweets" is 100% a red herring. There's no way their first "tease" of a new chapter would be from wordplay on a random tweet by a random employee.

We won't know until May 26th but until then, I do personally believe that means it'll be something huge for chapter 16 and a emotional coaster when it's revealed. That's my hope for it, anyways.

I really need to watch the It movies. Everybody keeps saying how Pennywise is like the entity. But that doesn't match everything I've heard outside of this forum. Everything else says he's basically a space demon.
