Still dont understand why BHVR did this
Really, why cooldown on nurse, she was balanced in my opinion, she is one of the harder killers to play and now she cant be played properly, she still confusing to do anything, her hitbox is trash and she move slower than a turtle. What the point to put a god damn cooldown???

Tbh it didn't really do that much, I bet you play on console cause nurse was so hard to use on console and now even harder, but bhvr did balance her out on pc cause she was way to op in pc

The more i play the game more i see that BHVR seems to hate it, its so unbalanced, they could just increase their cooldown or increase the extra fatigue by missing a hit

I really don't feel like the cooldown is that long. There are even add-ons to reduce it. If anything you should be complaining about the long list of bugs Nurse has. She is still the best Killer in the game when not bugged.

The cooldown is actually too long imo, it takes what? 4 seconds to 1 blink, 8 seconds for the another? also her add-ons are trash just like demogorgon's add-ons, dont help too much, have low effectivines

They had 1 clear goal, to get as many people to stop playing Nurse and to satisfy the survivor community.
After Legion, they went after Nurse again. They got what they wanted with Legion, and in respect, he deserved it for being exploited, but after Legion, they came back whining about Nurse.

The cooldown is 3 seconds to charge 1 blink. Keep in mind the timer starts while in fatigue, so you already have 1 blink up by the time fatigue is over. It's really not that long.
The point of the change was to make her more add-on reliant. Remember how old Nurse could EZ 4K without add-ons? Yeah you can't do that anymore and you shouldn't have been able to in the first place.
Try using the recharge time add-ons and you'll find it's quite balanced.

I'm on PS4, and now I only play Nurse for the memes. I put on tier 1 Enduring with no add-ons and float around the map chasing survivors without ever blinking once. Trying to blink around just isn't worth it, I'd rather walk barefoot on glass than deal with her mechanics since the addition of a second cooldown. I immediately trash her "blink and hit survivors" daily if I get it.

Nurse is easily the strongest killer in the game. Just because you suck with her post-nerf doesn't mean you should give up. I didn't.
She was one of the easiest killers in the game because she could just spam blinks, now you have to be smart. And yes, I did play her, and yes, she had a high skill floor... But once you reached that floor (in 5 games) she was way easy and OP. Now her floor is way higher and she is unintuitive, but her power is still there and still unbeatable.
Edit: I will say, though, that her bugs are borderline game breaking and all-too-common.

The fact that something is hard doesn't make it balanced. She was too opressive. Even a bad blink got you close enough for an m1 after fatigue.

The cooldown sucks, and makes her handle like ass, but she'd still be plenty powerful if she wasn't hammered with match killing bugs every other minute. It's hard to judge the real impact of the cooldown when you suddenly can't actually teleport for several minutes, or you can't go up one level with a full blink staring straight upwards.

It reminded me: when i said that ds needs a nerf and that nerf is better be something like a possible ds timer so killers could know when its safe to pick survivors up someone said to me "Then it would render perk useless" . I said : "POSSIBLE ds timer". Now i realize he knew what i was talking about and i just had a talk with survivor main.

Without addons she was op on pc? Well the cooldown wasnt the right thing then, because she's just a buggy mess right now.

If by buffing window vaults you mean make it so that when a survivor actually finishes vaulting they dont get hit 5 meters away, then sure. they buffed it.

I rarely got ridiculous hits off the widows, now I'm missing when it absolutely should have hit. Second they vault, it's impossible to hit them. Every window is like a dead hard now.

They fixed the bug that sucked you back to the window after you vault. You can still get hits its just harder now since you cant get hits when the survivor is already 15 meteres away from the window

Jokes aside yeah the addition of blink charge made Nurse so much more difficult on console but the thing that drives me absolutely nuts is that anytime I start to practice with Nurse again BHVR somehow breaks everything about her with a patch.
We have so many map "dead zones" that you cannot blink through, blink bugs that have persisted for ages, bugs that remove your power completely, a lunge issue after blinking...and...so...much...more. She is a killer that has such a different impact on the game from PC to console and I wish they wouldn't butchers her to the point of non-existence on console.

The normal blink coodlown is 3 seconds per charge. So after blinking 2 times you will be fatiqued for 2.5 seconds. During the fatique your blinks will start to recharge. Since one charge takes 3 seconds you'll have your first blink half a second after the fatique and then 3 seconds later your second blink.
It's still annoying, they could've just increased the fatique duration in general. And for people who say a longer fatique on top of the head tilts cause Nausea, you could just make her look straight down during the fatique instead of tilting her head and increase the fatique by 1 or 1.5 seconds in general.
It would even be a more creative way to make her best counterplay better which is breaking line of sight, and since she looks down for now 3 or 3.5 seconds, Survivors will have more counterplay and the Nurse won't get frustrated because they didn't wait 3 seconds for their blink to recharge because they only waited 2.95 seconds.

It was badly done..should've just tested her addon changes first before implementing something like this..it makes the character feel very restrictive and just pumps out free gen time..but they dont really acknowledge it and it's no surprise..the only one who ever plays nurse is a community manager..so people who never even play her made the idea..no wonder it went south

Even with double cd reduction its bad..remember..she has to blink constantly..now add 5 seconds to the gens each time she blinks..this is just from the cd alone..not taking into account travel time or wind up, then imagine it taking 2-3 blink cycles to catch up for a hit on a survivor..That starts to add up very..very..very fast..now you see the problem

Nurse's base kit was almost balanced, didn't need this cooldown. Her add-ons were the big issue. Omega blink and 5 blink nurse were not okay. Imo the base kit should get a buff to make her less stressful to play as.

In the mantime, survivors are able to consistently uncork every killer, regardless of their skill, with no perks and no items.

Omega and Penta had to go, base nurse should've never been touched especially on console. Spirit imo should've been the one to get the nerf, as all she needed was sound. Nurse actually took skill, spirit did not take much. Now with the nurse nerf. I get these games:

Nurse needed her nerf. What they promised would be done is rework her broken add-ons and that’s it, but they added the cool down and sparked a lot of deserved hate. Personally? I still have NO problems at all with her cool down, but it should’ve been discussed by the community and given time to sink in instead of just randomly nerfing her base kit and confusing literally everyone.
However, I can’t think of a way they could’ve made Nurse take more skill other than increasing her chain blink fatigue multiplier from +1 seconds to +1.5. I’m fine with the change they made because it makes Nurse take more skill, and whoever thought Nurse took insane skill with no cool down before the rework was insane themselves (since all you needed was muscle memory and basic practice). Skilled Nurses like myself don’t need add-ons to still do extremely well (no flexing intended).
HOWEVER, CONSOLE HAVING THE NERF IS OVERKILL. Console Nurses have it way harder, and I give respect out to ones who deal with that bull.

This as well. I’ve had so many streamers suicide or act extremely confused because on their screen they weren’t possibly in range for the lunge, but it’s probably the servers being inconsistent about her lunge (I believe only her short lunge plays, even if you do a long lunge).

BHVR designing killers lately to be too addon and perk dependent. I like when killers need a little bit of those to be strong but not to the point of having to run it or lose out big time.
