Penalty
I keep being penalized for the killers quitting the games and now I'm locked out for the next 6 hours, when I never quit. I think the penalty should be removed unless you can fix it where only the person quits get penalized not everyone else. It's a rip off of the game and not alright for the players who purchased and play fairly.

Has happened to me before. It sucks really bad, and it wasn't even me who DCed, it was the killer.

I had this happen repeatedly about 2 weeks ago. It stopped after awhile until literally an hour ago where it happened twice in a row, and it seemed to happen either as everyone was about to die on hook anyway or right as someone started opening the exit gate. In both instances, it was preceded by what looked like a massive lag spike.

I only had this happen a few times and I agree. If the killer does that he or she should be the only one who gets the penalty and not the survivors.

This is impossible. I have been told on great authority by someone in this very thread that the game is stable and if you are crashing it is all your fault.

Game is stable? Imagine that in 2020. I'd suggest filing a support ticket. Try to record the next incident if possible.

I've seen this. The killed didn't DC. You got DCed from the game. I had a game with a full stack SWF and 3 of them DCed thinking the killer DCed cause the game told them it was the killer. Back in the game I was like "#########, it says 5 gens or hatch!" then Doc came and drug my ass to the basement. I've also been the one that got DCed while my friends and killer were still in match but it told me the killer DCed. Hope they fix it soon. It's still very rare and I've never been past the 5 minute penalty.

The game is mostly stable. Every now and then something random happens. If you don't do any volunteer DCing you shouldn't get past the 5 minute mark.

Exactly what Doomspooge said. I've had games with SWF where it said the killer dc'd and I escaped but my friends were still in the game playing and I was the one who had been kicked. I haven't had that happen in a while mind you but it is something to keep in mind.
