ultra wide support and resolution settings

I wrote this on an older post but it needs to be said here as well...

Dear devs,

I just bought a super ultra wide 32:9 resolution monitor. This was a great and necessary upgrade from my previous 3 monitor setup, especially since I also have 3 computers and needed to have them all hooked up to a KVM switch to share the monitors plus keyboard and mouse. I found a monitor with a built in KVM switch that made everything simpler. It's also a great monitor for streaming as I can having my streaming apps open on one half of the screen and my game open on the other half of the screen.

AND THEN THERE IS DEAD BY DAYLIGHT WHERE THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE.

I recently started getting more into DBD and I was looking forward to continuing to stream this game to Twitch and Facebook but it is impossible now because the game screen (even when my options have fullscreen mode uncecked) takes up essentially my entire screen. With fullscreen mode checked it takes up 100% of my screen, with fullscreen mode unchecked, it still takes up 98% of my screen.

Windows 10 has a multitasking feature where you can snap programs to either side of your screen. This is what I am doing when I play something like Overwatch and want to have the game window on one side of my screen and then the streaming programs/chat on the other side of my screen. BUT NOT WITH DEAD BY DAYLIGHT AS YOU GUYS DON'T ALLOW FOR ANY DISPLAY CONFIGURATION CONTROLS.

Please allow me to select the size of the game play window. There needs to be some option other than 100 fullscreen and 98% full screen. I need to be able to set the game window to 2560x1440 or 1920x1080 or some other aspect ration that the end user's computer can support.

Ok so I established that I have the issue of not being able to view the game side by side to other programs. The work around to that is to just NOT stream this game which saddens me and horrible PR move for you guys. But also, the game is absolutely unplayable in this resolution. In the lobby screen, characters heads are cut off. In an actual game, things are too stretched making things like trying to hide and move your camera so that you (as a survivor) can look around trees, generators, structures very nauseating.

PLEASE UPDATE YOUR GAME TO INCORPORATE THESE BASIC CONFIGURATION SETTTINGS.

This is 2020 for COVID sake.

I'm asking for essentially the same thing. No point in creating additional ultrawide threads out there. You could've also tacked on to an existing thread. It looks better when it's upvoted. You're welcome.
