Meanwhile you can ignore BT with Freddy. This is a good Trade for Freddy, considering BT is used way more than OoO.

That's the trade off for almost never beiing affected by borrowed time. Imao balanced, killer near negates one of the most used survivor perks in trade off for beiing hard countered by other one. Both situational, both can be evaded (cube with blindness for killer and stealthy non-dreaming save for survivor). I think it's fair at least, one hand gives, the other takes away.

You're saying that as if when you run in to save against a camping Freddy that he can't hit you, immediately putting you into the dream state, and voiding your BT. It doesn't matter if you wake up throughout the match...he can immediately put you back to sleep in the middle of the exact situation you need BT for. 🙄
I honestly didn't know OoO did this for Freddy because I don't run it. I find this ######### hilarious. 😂 'Bout time the ######### decision by the devs had a negative ramification for a killer. I would be absolutely down with "fixing" OoO, as long as it also fixed BT. ❤️

What does being awake change on the fact that Freddy can ignore BT?
Freddy will most likely be able to get in a Hit, meaning the Rescuer is asleep and BT is gone.
Of course both should not be possible, neither should Freddy be seen all time with OoO, nor should he be able to ignore BT.

I know a lot of people hard tunnel the OoO users. They feel the perk is cheap and should be removed or changed significantly.

How does this change the fact that a camping Freddy can negate BT? Exactly, not at all. There are also people who use BT reasonable. And at some point there needs to be an Unhook.
You can stay in your entitled Killer-Bubble or simply accept the fact that Freddy is strong enough without the potential to ignore a Anti-Camp-Perk.

Freddy does have the blindness add-ons so if you bring one you can blind the OoO with a snare and have them lose their advantage. On smaller loops like the one in the picture you should be able to use your snares to catch them. Unfortunately on bigger loops there's not much you can really do and you should just give up chase.

It....actually really does happen, and often even without BT. 🤣
Some people are MAD thirsty for those unhook points. It's actually one of the biggest factors in some of my games as killer.

They should give him undetectable status too.
That way there can be no doubt that Freddy is the most easy and over kitted killer in the game.

Ive beat a team with that before, a few times.
Number 1) if you suspect this is going to happen run freddys blindness add on (yes, these addons actually have a use). If that OoO is hit you can see them in chase they cant see you.
Number 2) Play the game normally but ignore the object unless they are out of position and you catch them slipping.
Number 3) these teams are heavily reliant on the person with OoO, they will be overly altruidtic with that person. Dont be afraid to camp, and FOR SURE if you get that person on the hook tunnel the crap out of them, especially if its early in the game.
*do not camp and tunnel to your own detriment though. If the other survivors arent coming go pressure gens. If the OoO has a significant lead coming off the hook go after the unhooker instead.
For anyone about to complain about me saying to camp/tunnel, save it. I dont care. You dont beat teams like this by following the survivors rule book. You will get stomped every time if you try and play nice.

I main Freddy and can confirm bt does work against him if the unhooker is awake. Its almost always a good idea to wake yourself up before going for the unhook for numerous reasons, that being one of them

Its not about the perk being cheap, its fine honestly, it just means if possible that person has to go first because they are the eyes of the team

Negating borrowed time is bollocks, this perk should work on distance. If the killer is within 32 metres BT activates no matter what

It mostly bothers me because I feel you should be able to take both survivor and killer to level 50 not have to regrind after you choose which one.
I know a lot of people would like to be able to p3 and all perk in one go, but I don't think 5 mill is enough quite yet.

For starters, we're talking about unhooking a survivor against a camping/tunneling Freddy and its effect on BT. You cannot NOT unhook in the killer's face when the killer never leaves the hook vicinity. LOL Unless yall wanna loan me the Wraith bell for a second so I can invisible my ass in there. The argument of "don't let the killer see you!"...when the killer never leaves LOS of the hook is just stupid.
So, no. I'm not "running in like a banshee straight at the hook!"...I'm running in directly to the hook, when a killer will proxy but refuses to leave the area, because it is the best chance at getting that person down without it being a definite hook trade. Also in this case, if I know the killer is going to tunnel, I want to do so within close enough proximity to the killer that the person gets their BT because the killer is coming to down them either way.
I'm not arguing people get thirsty for off-hooks, but that's not at all what we're talking about here.

I think the question you're meaning to ask is: How is this fun?
Because it's not fun, yet this is technically how Freddy was designed. Now, knowing the balancing team like we do, we can't tell if this was intended or an oversight (having an OoB team against Freddy resulting in infinite OoB) but we CAN say that it is NOT fun to play against. Talking 'fair' is a whole other different story, and unless you want to spark a flame war I suggest you don't talk about that.
