Bloodweb Cap Removal?
In the current day of dbd the cap is nothing more than a hindrance. With how many characters and perks there are 1mil is not enough. I understand it was originally removed because people would give themselves billions of bp, but does it really even matter? There's worse hacks running in the game currently anyways. Shouldn't players be rewarded for playing long enough to go over the cap? It feels like its more to keep the grind of the game going, but many people just want to level their characters without that incovenience. How would you feel about it's removal?

I want it removed I'm tired of dealing with it.

If your problem is that you have too many targets to put your BP in, what is your point in saving them? Spend them before you reach the cap.

The devs said it's because they don't want someone who let's say saved up 100million blood points and then dump it all on the newest killer or survivor. It's kinda fair as not everyone has as much free time or not everyone wants to play dbd 24hours a day just so they also save up bp to have a decent counter against someone who's already a p3 Deathslinger with all the perks unlocked.

Because sometimes people dont want to spend them right away. Sometimes people want to save for a rainy day or maybe just want to see a massive number. Does it really matter why. It's a tad ridiculous anyways to have 1 million as the cap.
3 -
Do you even have a clue how long it takes to save up 100 million bp? According to stats it took me over 4k hrs to save up 380 million bp in total.

How’d you calculate that?

There are websites which can extract the data from your steam profile

For example this website https://dead-by-daylight-stats.herokuapp.com/

To be fair, a removal or increase of the BP-Cap would actually more benefit those players who dont have that much freetime. Someone who can play DBD 24/7 can reach those one million BPs in a short period of time while someone who can play like 30 minutes per day will take a lot longer.
So someone who does not have the opportunity to play that much every day can actually get more BPs over time to make the Grind easier when a new Character comes out. While someone who plays a lot can get this done faster.

I see a youtuber with millions of blood points I'm not sure how cause there is a cap

Yes it does matter, because the cap does not cause any kind of problem. If causes a problem if a new character comes out and you want to boost it to max within an hour. But that is not the problem described and the problem addressed by the cap.

Yes, exactly, allowing everyone to spam new perks on new characters. If people play like crazy you cannot avoid it to happen, but at least not the whole community runs the same meta builds on every new character

The cap shouldn't be removed, but it should ve bumped up to 3 mil.

Increasing the cap will also help people who prestige their characters to help get them back up to speed faster as even with 1M BP you can still be missing a large number of the powerful perks.
1 -
Still it should be bumped up to 5 million. It was orginally meant to prevent cheating. At least with 5 million people can prestige and level for perks easier.

The overall 1 million cap is fine, its the in game cap for individual categories i dont like. If you hit the killer with 10 pallets you hit cap way before that and stop earning. The 32000 per game cap is fine but they should remove the requirements for different categories

I pick a high number, why are you even being rude

But how would this be fair to someone who hasn't stockpiled a massive amount of bp, to someone who has and insta p3s every new killer and survivor?

As long as they raise the cap so you can reach 50 to presitge instead of 30-35 I'd be happy. That way if you get some unlucky bloodwebs for your favorite perks you arent stuck.

I mean, both is a point. Even tho, someone who has a P3-50 Deathslinger with all Perks at Release Day did earn the BPs before. But understandable from BHVRs perspective to keep the grind.
But increasing the BP-Cap would be enough. At least to a point where you would actually get something from the Update that Bloodwebs from Tier 40 onwards let you get 2 Perks. Because currently 1 Million BPs is something like Level 36.
Maybe if they tie it to Devotion, like each Level of Devotion is 100k BPs more for the Cap.

We all know full well they're running out of ways to monetize the game, I would put money on the fact that they'll monetize being able to remove the cap soon.

Where am I rude? Lmao dont be sensitive.

It's like saying "how is it fair that someone saved up money for years to buy Porsche while others kept spending money left and right and can't afford a Porsche?"
You notice your logical flaw?

That is round about the amount to max out a character as soon as he comes out. It is like 4-5 million depending on the addons you buy. Add 2 shrines, 3 dailies and the rift challenges which you can save (almost half of them) and you get your freshly released maxxed character.

K cool, but the cap is still 1mil :p
