Rank Reset- Lets talk ‘bout it.
In my opinion rank “reset” isn’t a “reset” at all. I only lost 3 survivor ranks and 2 killer! If I really tried I could easily get that back in a day, then I’m stuck sitting, chilling, for the next month. Can’t they make Rank reset harder like it used to be so it’s TRULY a reset? Lmk how y’all feel!

Honestly, on the one hand I dislike new RR because I despise red ranks with a burning passion, and now I'm stuck up there because one month I played too much. On the other hand though, I like it because it means more killers will be in red ranks, which we need right now (yeah, there will also be more survivors, but because pipping as survivor is so easy that would happen anyway).

I saw that I was rank 8 survivor with no pips on monday, so I decided to play as laurie with just OoO and a flashlight.
I'm usually a more passive teammate, but i ran this doctor around for 4 gens and still black pipped. Damn near pipped. Loaded another match, and didn't do as 'well' against a legion.
I guess I'll be rank 13 today. My magic number is 5? I guess it was worth it but eh.

RR only puts you back to the next color, so it was only a setback, not a reset :(

Piddly resets are partially why the rank bloat is so bad, but only partially. It should definitely push back a little further.

Of course the Rank Reset-Change needs to be reverted. But hey, people who dont play much cannot achieve the same like people who actually play the game. Surely you need to change it then! At least this was the thought of the Devs.
New Rank Reset is a Joke. And partly fault of the bad Matchmaking in my opinion. If people dont get reset that much, they will cluster in High Ranks and at some point low Ranks will not find any games (most likely low Rank Killers). As we see with various Threads of PS4-Killers who have to go against Red Rank SWFs because both groups have long wait times. And at some point the Matchmaker puts them together. Yay.
Like, someone who is on 4 gets reset to 5. This is not a Rank Reset, this is 1 (!) lost game. And back in the day you knew Rank Reset was close when the Potatoes reached Red Ranks. Now they are in Red Ranks right after Rank Reset.

I think RR is just stupid at base. Why do you reset the ranks at all? A player isn't getting worse after the 13th of a month. It's just stupid, when an usual red rank team (now with a purple rank) is playing against a killer, who really is in the purple ranks and vice versa. It's just as stupid as multiple accounts. But it seems, that the usual player wants this to happen, so that they can be even more toxic than most of the time. Just put a real challenge in climbing the ranks, put some more in there and throw RR in the trash, where it belongs. If there would be an Top 100 Rank or something like that, then I would understand RR, but as it is now it doesn't make any sense at all.
