There Really Needs to Be A Face-Camping Penalty

I have had killers go for me and me alone, usually Nurses because I know how to juke 'em (it's easier now since she's bugged). They usually give up around gen #2. If they don't and they get me, I tell my SWF teammate to open the gate and rescue only if the killer doesn't have NOED. If the killer has NOED and the totem can't be located, he leaves and I take the L (assuming some other survivor didn't decide to unhook me despite the killer having NOED, in which case we leave that survivor to their fate).

I practice what I preach, despite claims to the contrary.

I haven't seen a Shape in quite some time, but I have tried those as well. Same thing happens. The last two Huntress players were quite skilled, though, they got me before gen #2 popped.

It's a very hard thing to actually lockdown.

Let me give you some examples

Let's say as a killer you see a bunch of survivors going for the hooks swarm you immediately decided to then start to finding the hook you can't exactly defend it from a mile away. You have to make sure you get for grabs.

Another example you just managed to down a survivor just before they left through the exit gate you do not have a reliable hook that is far enough to justifiably leave the hook area. So inevitably you have to hook them within walking distance of the exit. If you do anything other than pure face-to-face camping that survivor is going to have a very easy time escaping.

You would have to essentially figure out a system that could allow these things to happen if these scenarios are met so the killer doesn't get screwed over if they're forced to face camp.

You would also have to implement this system in a way that survivors can't just throw the Killer by looping extremely close to the hook or constantly running to the hooks to punish the killers

I can’t believe people still complain so loudly about camping.

It’s really not hard to save someone from a camper if you run BT. I did it earlier, saved someone hooked in the basement from a camping Huntress by making smart use of Kindred and BT. No SWF, no communication, no other survivors. If the killer was better I probably wouldn’t have been able to do it but they probably wouldn’t have had to resort to camping in that case. The only time I won’t make any attempt against a camper is a Bubba.

It‘s so easy to punish camping. If you don’t know how, you need to get better at the game. And if your complaint is that your teammates don’t know how, then while I feel your pain it’s just the unfortunate fact of solo queue. Just move on to the next match instead of demanding punishment for something that punishes itself if the survivors have half a brain.

Clearly you're unfamiliar with killer. That would 100% encourage more face-camping in an effort to leave red ranks.

Rank/pips are worthless. Always have been, seemingly always will be. Using them as a punishment will never work.

You know it's like people forgot when the killer shack had 2 open windows.

Actually, I wasn't defending them at all, I was saying that the balance is un-fair. I support a penalty for camping, and, as long as there is one, I support infinite bans. And by "points" you claim I ignored... are you referencing the "devs are god and no one should question them" points? Because those were ######### points.
