Why does the game have to be so blurry and dark?
This game is so much darker than any game I played before,how can anyone see anything looking through the fog hurts your eyes struggling to see something barely visible.

That's anti aliasing you can turn it off there is an ingame option coming but for now i believe its safe to link a video on how to do it

This will make your game look a lot better and less straining on your eyes.

If the darkness bothers you, you can simply turn up your monitor brightness

that wont change much because its the game itself that's dark,turning about the brightness over the top will just make it hurt your eyes just as much

You can clean it up considerably with the Nvidia Control Panel if you have it. Enable the sharpen image function and brighten the display by 60%.

The game isnt that dark at all. It used to be much darker and much better.

Turning down in game settings to low or even medium brightens the game up considerably, but that's not gonna help too much with blur. You could also try fiddling with the GameUserSettings file if you're on PC. You can adjust things individually like shadows quality, texture, etc. until it suits you a bit better.

Fair, although the devs are fine with adjusting these files. Same with anti-aliasing, which is why they turned it back on. I get ya' though.

You can buy an Nvida card and use Geforce to change brightness settings and other color related stuff if you want.

The game is fine. If I can use the word dark I would do it for The Game map and especially Yamaoka

Well, despite some people beliving the game resolves around chases and running in circles only, for some of us its a hide-and-seek game. Therefore, survivors, who cant outran the killer, have to be able to duck behind a corner and try to hide. Less visibility helps with that.
Of course thats one of the reason a lot of people want to disable grafic effects, because that would change the "hide-and-seek" balance in their favour.
