Devs its time to address killer adepts
As the the title said, it's time to do something about it. I'm not saying its too hard. I'm saying its way more luck based than you think.
What I mean by luck based is you have to be lucky that a survivor doesn't dc. Can do a bit of gens. Doesnt die on first hook. Doesnt have a key, and doesnt escape via hatch. Now i know it sounds like i want it handed to me, but thats not the case. What i want, is for it to be balanced as the survivor one is. I'm not trying to turn this into a us vs. Them but lets face it. Survivor adept is a lot more easy vs a killer adept.
Also lets face it. Its a bit of a problem when the advice of getting a killer adept is "derank"

He is talking about achievements. Adept achievements for killers are WAY more difficult than the adept achievement for survivors.

For them to look into changing how killers get killer adept. Getting merciless killer requires so much luck and less skill

It has a very simple solution. Bring back 4k = Guaranteed Merciless.
Never caused an issue before and emblems becoming irrelevant with the new MMR. No reason not to.

Specifically, the achievement requirement for adept is "Receive a 'Merciless Killer' rating using a specific killer, and that killer's 3 teachable perks." Originally, that just required killing/sacrificing all 4 survivors; you kill all 4 under those conditions, you get Merciless. This matched the survivor adept requirement of 'Escape a trial using that survivor and only their 3 teachables'
Now, Merciless Killer is based on your emblem score; you can kill all 4, but you might not get a merciless rating if you don't jump through the other requisite hoops (chasing, multiple hooks/survivor before they die, stopping gens from going too quickly, etc.).
Ever since the change, players have been asking to change the achievement requirement so it takes 4 survivor sacrifices instead of merciless; that way it goes back to how it was originally, and lines up better with the survivor version. Hopefully BHVR will change it at some point, but I'm honestly not holding my breath.
