What's your opinion about camping?

Heyo, today i want your opinion about camping. Persons I don't really care, if a killer camps then I can safely do gens for a minute and if I'm getting camped then either A. I did a good job at looping or B. I found a poor soul playing this game, well that's just sad.

Tbh I don't really care about camping since it's almost like giving up as killer, but it's really effective on solo q. I just wish my team sticks to the gens and pray things work out.

What do you guys think? Let me know down below.

If i get camped i dont get the absolutely enthralling gameplay of holding m1, so im fine with letting my team rush gens while i "occupy" the killer. Its just generally a bad tactic if its just what you do when you hook anyone. Only thing bad about it to me is having to watch the Claudette ######### Self Care in the corner.

If they have to: ie, when the exit gates are powered or when people are around, it's fine. If they do it cause I've ran them or they've had a bad game or a bad day, fair enough. But if they did it for literally no reason that I can think of and state none if I bother to ask, then I find it scummy.

The only thing i hate about camping is watching my stupid teammates looking at the camping killer instead of doing gens and just feeding him kills that way.

Camping is not that annoying most of the time. It's just a tactic some killers think is effective and use it, but it's not. A camper just focuses on one thing which is the hooked survivor more than other objectives like stopping gen progress. So people can do gens freely and other important objectives. So, camping is not the worst thing to happen (if you're not being camped that is). Also, there are many things you can do to counter campers like Borrowed Time, Deliverance+ Decisive Strike, or even having a teammate rush the hook. I had a game with a camping Myers, I took the down, saved the teammate, and then the flashlight saved me and we all got out. Camping isn't a big deal.

It's one of the most confounding things about this game to me. Survivors want to complain about camping yet they are the ones that make camping a viable strategy. If not for survivors making it a very effective strategy there would be far less camping. I say that as a survivor main.

I assume you mean actual face-camping. i think it is stupid. It is a poor strategy by the killer, and only bad killers would do it, hoping that other survivors will go for the rescue anyway. Sadly, many survivors do, because altruism trumps everything else. If I am being face camped, I want to hear 3 gens pop as a reward for me hanging on till the end and wasting the killers time. :)
