Moments in Survivor Stupidity
What are some dumb things you've seen survivors do? Either as a fellow survivor or as killer?
Just had a game where a Feng decided to teabag me at the exit gates. Which is usually only a bad idea if the killer is Deathslinger. But I was Pig. Only thing is, she had an active RBT on her head. Yeah, thanks for the third kill Feng. Glad you thought you'd teabag me and get out instead of trying to take off your party hat. She was in red Ranks too.

Are you sure she didn’t do this on purpose to give you the kill? Or because she didn’t have time left?

I have vaulted directly into the killer multiple times.

I unhooked teammates with borrowed time in front of the open exit gate and they run in a different direction and got killed. That happened twice today.

She opened the exit gate. Not sure how much time she had left on her timer, then again that's mostly her fault since she finished a gen to trigger the timer to begin with (which I know because I went straight for the gen that popped, and there she was) Wasn't running Rule Set 2, either. In fact, I didn't have any add-ons because my loadout was from when I was doing the Deadly Imperative challenge.

Survivor self caring, under the effects of sloppy. Going to the same corner each time, got down over and over again. I don't think they notice the killer had nurse's calling.
Bill just got unhooked, was injured. One of their fellow survivors when down. Killer was taking them to the basement. Bill hides in a locker right in front of the killer. Why was the Bill in the basement? No bloody idea. Bill tries to escape after the killer hooks their friend. Killer chases Bill. Bill goes down. Bill gets hooked in basement. Bill lets himself dies. Sticks around for end chat, to yell at the killer for tunneling. When he got under 1 or 2k points. The Bill didn't have head on or a flash light.

When I'm injured.
EDIT: I'm an idiot who missed out on the "Survivor" memo. I once had a Bill sit underneath me for fifteen seconds because he didn't know how to unhook me.

Earlier today I was playing Fred. Someone dc'd 30 secs into the match. I played like normal till there were 2 survivors. I decided to let them farm a little so I carried dsvid to a pallet and ket feng stun me for the drop. David decided to tbag. That was dumb. He died, feng left.

Lot of times like while farming, its meant as a sort of verification. In situations like you described for example, its not uncommon for the survivor who ISNT on my shoulders to give a little t bag BEFORE the pallet is dropped almost as if to double check that theres an understanding. I'll give a nod back, once again...not as a taunt, but to convey a meaning.
Im guessing thats what the David was doing. He was seeing if you were infact being peaceful and wanted to farm more. Checking on that understanding.

I unhook lots of people that go running straight in the direction the killer just went. Even if you weren't paying attention, it's still dumb.

I've been solo que-ing a lot lately and see survivors go down under hooked teammates and just sit there. Recovering or not you need to crawl away because the killer wont move an inch if he has two people under his thumb.

The other day I was playing bubba and I hit this Meg right before she was able to slam a pallet on my head and she pointed at me as i was breaking the pallet and she dead harded right into me after and i smacked her down. She then dced. I was so confused lol.

My dumbest moment was the first time I found a green key, there was 1 other survivor left & myself. We were facing Plague. For about 30 minutes, we looped her, and ran into each other, and I kept trying to get the other survivor to follow me to hatch. I couldn't figure out how to get it open. I even sat it down on the ground for the other person to use, 'cause I had to be doing something wrong. Eventually, we both died.
Imagine my shock and awe to find out it's just a completely useless item. 😩

Me saw Shape walking toward me thinking he was David, and waited for him to come close.

I had this same thing happen to me last weekend two sacrificed survivors. Full health Claudette with an active bear trap upon completion of final gen and a Kate with no RBT. I was chasing the Kate and the Claudette decides to open the gate instead of getting off the RBT. I down the Kate near the exit and the Claudette teabags and attempts to leave. I let the Kate crawl out because I was laughing so much.
One of my personal finest potato moments was working on a gen in killer shack, and spine chill lights up and I keep waiting for a heartbeat and it never shows up, so I run out to the door in the back of killer shack because it is in the corner of the map and surly the killer won't be coming from that direction, a second later I'm exposed and a ghostface is jumping out of the bushes from behind me.

When I switched from my wraith main the next one I was my Claudette main. I had a teammate yesterday heal my even tho I Can heal myself. And so anyway the killer was coming for us both and she cuts in front of me to leap into the shake so I could be killed. The killer saw what she did and still went for me.

As killer:
I was playing Piggy and came across an object of obsession bunny Feng who tbagged as soon as I saw she had it. Unfortunately for her, I was Piggy and she wasn't able to see me whenever I was crouched because of undetectable status. I manage to sneak up on her, down her, placed a trap on her, while I applied pressure to the rest of the other survivors. The other survivors would pick her up and I'd see her aura go towards the jigsaw boxes to try and remove the trap, but none of them worked. Eventually she makes it to the last box where I witness her timer finally depleting and watch her head explode. <3
As survivor:
Being 1 hooked/go to the struggle phase on my first hook when I have Kindred on. I love and hate the perk. Love because of all the information it gives me, hate it because I witness how everyone is useless by not doing anything while someone's hooked and because no one bothers to rescue me when my kindred shows them their auras.

Me. Dedicated to a gen while a myers was staring at me. Turns out he had infinite tier 3. I pretty much single handedly threw that game for the whole team.

Not that you know, it certainly didnt seem that way in game. He ran as soon as I kicked the pallet and used the same motion he uses to taunt killers with. What i usually see is survivors crouch and stay there for a moment, he was popping his ass up and quickly and bolted. But you know, you can make assumptions and throw insults if that makes you feel better 🤷♂️
