Your game has too many problems, disabling the ban for leaving games, first fix it and then set your rules.

The game installed recently, it crashes daily, until you reinstall the entire operating system and the same problems continue to occur.

If people want to quit a game they are simply going to commit suicide, this makes no sense.

pretty good job so far.

This has always happened to me, only in this game.

    - The OS has about 3 or 4 days since it is installed.

    - I have no hardware problems (gpu rx580).

As I mention, it is only in this game, on Sunday I spent almost 12 hours playing GTA and everything was fine; I play Fortnite (same graphics engine) almost daily and not a problem either.

Gotta be your rig. I've never had DbD crash on me, not once.

    What're you running?

Same GPU as you and my DBD never crashes it has crashed once but that was a windows related BSOD.

they really need to find a way to differ between game crashes and DCs / connection losses.

the current system is very unfair towards players who, like you, have crashed out of the game and had no control over it - sadly its a necessary evil though, as DCs went out of hand prior to the system.

I recently switched to a new GC and RAM and before that I rarely ever crashed in games, but after the switch I was crashing constantly. I fixed mine with BIOS updates, have you tried that?

This reminds me of an issue my girlfriend had. We had posted a ticket about this and we received a message that the videocard was outdated or lacked the needed storage, she had a videocard with 2-4gb.. She couldn't boot up the game as fas as you can so maybe that might be an issue? Otherwise I am clueless.

I never have any issues on my ps4 myself but anyway. I was always taught to finish a game no matter what. I know for some people though unfortunately they have issues

Yes I completely agree on this if a killer or whoever rage quits and survivors receive a penalty it should be only the person who disconnects or rage quits. Although if I’m not mistaken don’t we get some sort of blood points if a killer rage quits?.

Assuming you didn't just DC a ######### ton, you didn't think you should stop playing and figure out what's wrong when you got disconnected so many times that the penalty increased to multiple hours?

Though problematic, the previous amount of DCs did not justify innocent people being barred from playing the game.

The problem that is only with this game.

Before the ban I spent about 2 hours playing GTA V and right now I play Fornite... I have had no problems.

Uninstall the game and reinstall it.

Uninstall the gpu drivers and reinstall.

    The same problem.

Curiously it only happens to me with the nurse, I spent about 3 hours playing with other killers/survivors and only frozed with the nurse.

Bug reports and/or trying to get the attention of someone in charge so they can help find out what's wrong?

    What cpu?

    Did you overclock the cpu?

    Did you overclock your ram?

Did you use DDU uninstaller to remove old gfx card drivers or just click the "fresh install" box that literally does nothing?

    Have you updated your bios?

This game tends to show unstable overclocks in gpu's and cpu's that will happily play everything else.

I have run this game on a 1st gen i5 750 with a gtx 760... the problem is your rig.

Semi-related, has anyone been experiencing mid-game crashes and disconnections on PS4? Just came back from a DBD break and had 2 consecutive disconnects when playing survivor while I am on a chase

like i said, the system definitely needs improving, where it can tell when someone DCed or had a gamecrash (the later should not be punished).

though, considering how bad DCs were prior to the punishments, i would not want the current system to be shut down.

DCs back then were out of hand, players literally DCed over everything. it was almost impossible to have a normal game, you'd always have at least one DC, probaply more. Players abused the living hell out of that button, just to deny the counter party emblem / blood point score events and have them lose when they should have won.

in the end, the only reason why OP and others even suffer from that problem is, because of thousands of toxic players would abuse that option.

if one is to blame for this, its these people. they basically forced the Devs hand, which lead to this problem.

now all we can do is to wait and hope for a fix.
