Do you tryhard play the same or in the case of keys do you run stuff like franklins? Just thought itd be a nice general discussion i personally dont play any differently when these are in play (besides if the killer tries to tunnel mori me off first hook i will waste as long of his time as possible youll get your mori but your losing like 2-3 gens boi)

Hard to see keys on console and with items as they are, i quit running Franklin's.

As survivor i play more cautious. Crouch more run less. Break all the totems.

Hidden offering: *sigh* "This will be a short match. Wonder if someone dc's."

    Key: "Well you're dying first."

Doesn't mean I'll tunnel, but it does cross my mind. ^^

I wish I could see keys, but I rarely do. Not in the sense that they're not used, they're just ######### hard to see.

When I see a secret offering I think "Wonder if I'll get to see a cool mori animation".

i just bring a mori for a key (but i only mori the key user)

and when i see a mori as survivor, i just groan bc i know the game is about to last like 3 mins

If someone has a key I tunnel them too death. If it's a mori then I try and never be seen by the killer. Mori's and Keys are cancer that ruin games.

I never notice keys. But if it's a secret killer offering, I basically go into "Just Do Gens" mode. Survivors in the last match had a key, but they didn't use it. But we also farmed most of the match. Might've been carried over from a previous match.

    When I see a Mori I just laugh and say " Wooooo omg a Mori ! "

And if the killer is like a forever Freddy or a Spirit using a Mori, I usually just say " Well they're doing me a favor I can get outta this boring match. "

For the Keys though, I don't tunnel or bring a Mori, Franklins etc. I just play the game.

If I see a secret offering:

    Thaaaaaat's a Mori!!!

If I see a Key I think one of two things:

If I'm Huntress - "Franklin's is a top tier perk on Huntress. Who wouldn't run it on her? Almost as good as STBFL! Or Unrelenting! It will be an amazing use of one of my four perk slots."

If I'm anyone else - "I imagine you were mine, and I'm feeling you so close, but yet so far - you hold the key to my heart!"

When i see a secret Offering, i usually guess it's one of the two to spawn together.

Spawning far away from the Killer doesn't really mean much if it's still a mediocre spot to spawn.

Not that i care which it is, just like i've decided to not care about Keys.

    Keys: I don't care.

Dark secret offering: I hope that I will see one of my favorite mori animations

key: "guess he is gonna die first then" plus, when i see them ingame "dude you are NOT making it out alive, a can assure you that" (i have thrown games to kill the key dude. worth it.)

mori: "guess someone really wants that rank up / 4k..." and "cmon dude thats so lame. why you gotta be such a douche?" (i case of an immediate first hook mori tunnel).

thats pretty much my thought process with the two.

I run franklin but if it a last min i tunnel the key. For a mori offering, i go toward the killer cause i want to get mori.

I only have a Sasuke build wearing women’s dress. No way I can poise through an attack that kills me with 2 hits.

Key: I can’t be bothered to always bring a mori or franklins only just for one item. If it’s more than one though with similar names it’s crosses my mind to use something or different killer but that depends on what I’m on such as builds I’m using just for fun or builds with a challenge in mind I’m trying to do. I would say 95% of the time I just play as well as I can since I play both sides and I have no idea what their challenge is or if it’s even a good kind of key. I would be lying though if I said I didn’t mind game when I see them and offer a shroud or yellow mori To make pallets drop earlier and more careful plays from them.

mori: I really can’t stand when someone dc’s no matter what side I play and for the time it can take as a survivor to get a match it is pretty inconsiderate to just dc. Really I play the game as usual just by doing gens, totems that I see and unhooking as safe as possible and if I’m getting chased just make the chase as long as possible which is no different from my normal game play. Besides I do like seeing a good mori.

I think the divide between these two things in the game would not be cared for as much if there was a reward for each side. If survivors got a point boost for everything they did you wouldn’t hear as many survivors complain about depipping because of it (if you do good chases and attempt objectives you shouldn’t anyway). Same for killers with keys when it comes into play the survivors are more likely to escape leaving a killer who may have really worked hard to hook everyone 3 times but after killing 1st person and one gen left the other three could escape for free but it just wouldn’t sting as much if you got rewarded for them using it since it’s a benefit. When both are in play it can not only change how the game is played but now everyone is getting a benefit.

If I see you at hidden offering usually my first thoughts are yeah probably best not to try to irritate the Killer or if that Killer starts losing the game hard probably best not to be the one they down.

If I see a key my thoughts are well little survivor I can't see what rarity so I'm just going to assume it's an ultra rare and you better start playing immersed because if not you're the one that's going to die first.

Bonus if I'm a survivor and I see another person with a key my usual idea is well I can't wait until this game goes completely heads up and this person immediately abandoned the idea of doing gens because of hatch. Also if you die I am totally robbing that key of your body

Killer, time to get my Oni/Spirit out (I can win pretty easily with them), if they get the hatch, they deserve it.

Survivor, time to play immersed and try to give them the run of their lifetime if they see me (usually it's an iri head Huntress so you can imagine that I die in the first 10 seconds of the chase)
