Freddy Can Throw Hatchets! Wow!

Yeah, I recommend everyone stops playing until the current wave of hackers is banned.I was tricked by the title because there's currently a hacker wave going around with people equipping killer stuff on survivor and vice-versa, as well as stacking perks. This is why writing proper titles is important.

i think the freddy had internet lags

I'd call that purposeful lagswitching personally.

That looks like servers to me. The Freddy seemed confused as to where you were.

Oh, that is a normal dedicated server thing that sometimes happens. The Killer is seeing u running into a straight line and after the hit u get teleported to your real position for him.

thats not dedicated servers. They probably worked fine, but bc the freddy lags, davids position wont be updated on his screen. So for freddy the david might just run in a straight line right into that corner, even tho he (david) already turned around. Hit detection is on the killer side, so it might look "normal" for freddy but not for the david.
They adressed this issue on their last Q&A and are going to implement a server sided hit confrmation. Like it should have been from the very start of dedicated servers OR let the servers be the host of everything happening ingame (which consumes way more server power = cost more money).

Lagswitching on dedicated servers?

You can with vpning they answer this in the devstream.

You can. Limiting your ping as killer, what lagswitching is, results in a lot of hits you shouldn't get. It's a bannable exploit and the devs are working on methods of fixing this on their end. One thing their considering, said in their most recent QnA From Home stream, is server-sided validation on hits, taking both sides into account.

I doubt it’s “lag switch”. I’m ps4 based; can you even exploit that on console? I’ve just NEVER seen it that bad and It’s been more of an issue in general this past week. Similar case last night against a Spirit with a 10 foot long weapon:

I had this happen too some weeks before. Right after i downed someone he just disapperead 30 meters away. :/

That could be your own connection or the survivor's bugging there. If it happened all match though it would look very sus.

thats an average latency issue that happend to every single one of us at least once.

Only happened once a match. everything else was okey.

Then that's just a hiccup in connection. Happens to the best of us.

Just lag. I had a hit very similar to that on pc. In shack, 10 feet away and behind the killer and got downed.

I was wondering about this. I have about 1600 hours logged. I may not be the smartest. But I was starting to notice some rank 1 killers being "abnormally". Thing like with running Iron Will. They still knew exactly where I was. Checking perks after games showed no spies or whispers. Just a different vibe out there from your typical really good killer. Anyone else notice this? If so, what are the current bugs allowing super user killer playing?
