A realistic No Mither Buff

Well, you know it.
It's a perk,
it's a meme,
it's NO MITHER!
Uff. This perk was useless since release, and still nothing has been done to it. I mean, it's the only perk in the game that is not useless, but directly harmful towards the survivor running it. So, here's two possible suggestions to make it good, or at least decent. Also, this is one of the first times I post on these forums, since until know I used to write stuff like this on the Steam forums, but if there's a place the devs are going to keep an eye on is their own forums, so here I am.

THE REVOLUTIONARY OPTION

Welp, not REALLY revolutionary, but innovative. So, the devs have given us the new broken effect in the PTB, so might as well play with it. Instead of being permanently injured, the survivor will start the trial at full health, but if hurt by the killer, will receive the broken effect for x seconds. Not going to write values, I'm here just for the idea. Also, the killer shouldn't be able to see if the survivor is under the broken effect. All the rest remains the same, meaning that at the cost of temporary injures, you will be more stealthy when injured and will be able to get yourself up as much as you want.

THE "KEEP THE PERK'S IDENTITY" OPTION

Alternatively, we can just keep the sacrifice of half of your survival chances to give a good reward. First of all, the survivor starts the match at full health and the killer cannot see the broken icon that appears on the bottom left corner. TThat's necessary. Then, you add that exhaustion recharges at 50% speed while running. I think it's a good trade: half your HP for the ability to use Exhaustion perks multiple times in a chase. Still, this is an idea and can be discussed etc.

So, feel free to discuss the topic, unless you're planning on insulting/harrassing others, in which case go to the Steam forums. That's the place for salty people.
Also, to anyone who saw the half-discussion that was brutally cut, just forget it. I accidentally hit Enter while out of the writing part and the discussion was posted, and I have no clue on how to delete it.

Why? Any negation of the ideas presented would be gladly helped if backed up by the reasoning behind it.

No Mither wasn't designed to be a "good" perk. It was designed to be a way to add difficulty to the game, a extra challenge if you will. It doesn't need a buff because that would ruin its intended use. i would rather see No Mither become a "everybody" perk that any survivor can unlock without having it tied to David King. Just give David a new third perk. :)

The most use I've ever gotten from No Mither was it's synergy with Resilience. I have received no other benefit from it because killers use it as an excuse to tunnel.

No Mither is for those survivors wanting a challenge. It's hard mode. That's what it was created to be and it will never change. The perk is fine. The whole purpose was to give survivors the option for a harder version of the game without implementing something different. The survivors ASKED for it and got it and now want it changed. Makes no sense.

No mither is actually good. I use it with Reiliance, This is not Happening and Tenacity. It is surprisingly effective.

No mither is hard mode, not supposed to have useful benefits on its own. Not supposed to be meta or useable. Supposed to have a lot of drawbacks. Devs said this I believe.

To all the people that answered the discussion:
I'm no survivor main. I mainly play killer, but from every prespective No Mither was a bad perk. Even if it is a challenge perk, I still think that at least the killer shouldn't be aware that a survivor is using it, by making him spawn at full health and not showing the killer the No Mither icon. Still, I don't like the concept of stuff not made to be viable. Not in a game with only ranked gameplay.

That's just bad game design though. If they want a harder experience they should create a separate game mode for it. For survivors who relie on their team no mither is just dumb. It should offer a viable alternative playstyle and not do more harm than good. Also if it was a hard mode perk it a) wouldn't offer increased benefits with level that make it easier to use and b) would reward you for playing hard mode through blood points or what not. In terms of game design it makes no sense not to change it.

If this game wasn't advertised as a game where it can be 4v1 or 1v1v1v1v1 then I'd say No Mither was a bad game design.

The game has been created with the option of self preservation being a valid play style, so I don't think its a development flaw to have an option to play risky for the sake of having more stealth. Even if it unfortunately effects your SWF or solo players.

I think they should. Then it's a risk/reward thing. Harder game for more points.

I've been running No Mither with the perks that activate when you're injured, so there's the use for them I see, along with being Unbreakable and Iron Will in one. If anything, I think it should give an increase in all bloodpoints earned, nothing insane but maybe 50%? Explain it away by the Entity being impressed at such a bold action.

It destroys the one synergy (good thing) no mither has. Starting injured for injured perks

All No Mither needs is either a 10 second bleed out timer or a 50% blood point boost, but not both. Either one would make this perk much more worthwhile.

Rename No Mither to Self Harm.

Instead of having the Broken status effect, starting the match injured with the HUD icon, just have the Survivor start the match healthy with the Exposed status effect for the whole match. Hard mode; no Resilience buffs; no more injured music.

No one wants this stupid hard mode perk. Everyone here wants a viable trade off perk. Not utter #########

Just make the survivor not drop any blood or moan.
