Deadly maiden
Any ideas how to "encourage" survivors to step into lockers while iron maiden is a thing?

BBQ, Doctor

BBQ
The question is most likely because of the "Grab someone from a locker while using Iron Maiden" challenge. BBQ doesn't help for that as they would have to stay in the locker for a long time. Even outside of the challenge the majority of survivors prefer the "Let's complain about how OP BBQ is despite refusing to use the very easy counter of going into a locker" approach.
Play Leatherface or wait for someone to try to DS you by going into a locker. You will get the challenge progress even if you get DS'd after grabbing them.

Tunnel the fresh unhooked survivor and hope they want to locker-ds you. (Not recommended)
Or throw a BPS and show the survivors that you want to farm. Might not work every game. But this is the easiest route.

Tunnel a Survivor off the hook and hope they want to locker-DS you.

I used Iron Maiden in combination with Distressing with Infectious.

There are a few methods you can try.
- Tombstone Myers - if you can manage to get to this stage of the game before everyone's running out the gates, they'll all be tripping over themselves to jump into lockers so you can't kill them once you've moried the first person.
- Killer Instinct on Legion or Demogorgon - use Feral Frenzy as much as possible as Legion, or place portals near lockers as Demogorgon. This won't encourage people to go into lockers, but it will help you to detect when they are in one.
- Cannibal or Hillbilly - people like to jump into lockers to avoid chainsaws. The only problem is you might have trouble getting the chainsaw off cooldown fast enough to grab them.
- Tunnelling - sometimes people like to jump into lockers to force DS, although personally I don't have this happen very much.
One tip I've discovered for the challenge is you don't actually have to open a locker and find them inside - grabbing them while they're going in or out also counts.

Try to get the survivors to farm with you.

Tunnel. Easy way. They go for the locker tech with DS.

Just farm, the easiest way. No scummy plays. The challenge is stupid, makes no sense. Farm, have fun, plus a lot of bp.

Farm. Literally every killer challenge so far besides the NOED and basement ones, I've farmed xD I got so many locker grabs its unreal.

A few rounds and people still won't hop into locker despite tunneling. Finally one survivor was kind/dumb enough to hop inside right in front of me.

It can't be done without cheating (farming), don't bother with it. If BHVR wants to pay a writer to write lore and pay to record the voice and then hide it behind impossible challenges that's their loss.

Tombstone myers is the best way. Equip both iridescent add-ons and tier up. Survivors will run in lockers to avoid dying.
I did the challenge in one go because of it.

Funnily enough I managed to accomplish Violent Imperative challenge on single try; HB + chainsaw chargers + agitation + iron grasp + monstrous shrine.
I initially managed to bring two into basement and chainsawed down a third, but the fourth got in and since I don't play HB a lot my chainsaw aims downstairs all missed, but eventually bagged the other two latter survivors into the basement too. Subsequent round-trip map excursion lead to 4K; didn't expect it to turn out so successful.

i got two survivors to go into a locker with iron maiden so far:
the first was a low rank meg who not only thought it'd be a good idea to get into a locker against huntress, but also while injured with me around her so all i had to do was open the locker with the bloodpools underneath it.
the second one was on the Dead Dawg Saloon when one panickvaulted into the locked up room thats only accessable through the window. there is a locker in there, so you can block the window and smack the locker, they wont have a choice.
both heavily relied on survivor mistakes though...

I got someone down in the basement, when someone pulled them off the hook tgey jumped in a locker.
That same game someone hit me with a head on, I chased them down and they were so demoralized they suicided and messaged asking why in the hell Im running Iron Maiden. It was awesome

I just downed survivors, took them to a locker, and hit the locker a few times. Eventually a survivor understood what I wanted and hopped in for me. I grabbed them, then let them go as thanks.

I ended up getting it done by using Legion's Feral Frenzy and Discordance. Basically I knew two people were on a generator and when I got down there, I only saw one so I hit them with Frenzy. That allowed my heart beat thingy to point out that a survivor was hiding in a locker. A mild fake out later (I faced away from the locker walking over near it so that the survivor wouldn't get spooked and just try to bolt if they suspected I knew they were in there) and I had my challenge done.
Granted, I might have just gotten lucky with this. A more experienced player might realize that Frenzy gave me a radar right to them but that's how I managed to get the challenge done without just farming for it.

Just smack a locker in front of some survivors. Some of them will be nice to help you out with the challenge. Just don’t be an a-hole and hook them right after they helped you out...
