Solo survivor is too hard to pip.

Some people say you rank up just by booting the game but that’s just dumb. At least in red ranks where the requirements are a lot higher you won’t pip too often. Not with the ######### teams we get 99% ot the time.

You can do 2,5 gens, half the unhooks of the game, take the killer for a chase but more often than not it’s an overpowered one with some insane lethality so it won’t be too long ( I play killer more than survivor at rank 1, but I see that gen speed is the only thing that parts Spirit from being declared ridiculously overpowered) and even escape in the end.

What you get for it is a fat ass blackpip. And then the next 3 games in a row gives you potatoes who go down instantly to a Legion and lose in the first 4 minutes. And you’re just sitting on the derank wagon cant doshit about it.

My point is get us back the god damn old rank reset till they implement MMR because ######### selfcare in the corner noobs and drop the shack pallet instantly without even looking behind you noobs are belong to rank 17 not 4-1.

If you do all those things you claim you do in a match, you pip. Remember that unsafe unhooks worsen you benevolent emblem. I have been keeping my solo survivor red rank game stats and so far pipped in 33 games out of 41, so it's not that hard. Lastly, if you don't pip you are at the rank you're supposed to be, except red ranks are still full of potatoes.

You understand that you would have to play with noobs more, right? Because if you rank 1 before the reset you will be rank 4 or 5 after it. And if you want it to be like it used to then you will have to endure even more "noobs" to get to red ranks and there will be "noobs" in red ranks just as well. So the way it is now is much better. There always will be potatoes.

“if you don't pip you are at the rank you're supposed to be, except red ranks are still full of potatoes.“

That sounds pretty controversial given the fact that it means the potato noobs are belong to red ranks. And me not being able to go past rank 2 for the achivement due to these noobs are hardly my lack of skill. There is only so much you can do in a match and as I said you hardly get rewarded for it. What I just “claimed” was my latest match and it’s outcome.

Disagree. Sure you had to start the season with noobs. But now you play the entire season whith the same level of noobs.

Ranking system is like a big loop. If you go around you arive nowhere. At least before it took weeks for the potatoes to reach red ranks. There was only decent players in there for the first half of it. But now there is not even rank reset anymore.

Potato noobs are most likely get carried by SWF and if they get there themselves it means that they may not be that potato.

Okay, maybe that sentence was a bit unclear. What I mean is that safety pip USUALLY means that you belong to that current rank, but because (everyone who's played this game long enough knows this) of rank reset changes and SWF boosting there are still bad players in red ranks who don't actually belong there. As a consequence, these players also boost bad killers to the red ranks (me being one of them). And as a solo rank 1 survivor and boosted red rank killer, I still think pipping as survivor is too easy.

If you get this mad about the responses to your problem, maybe it is time to reflect your gameplay instead of denying the possibility that you are doing something wrong. Take video captures of your matches and watch them again, you will learn more.

Actually, pipping as survivor is rather effortless. The requirements for a black pip are so low that you have to actually go out of your way to depip.

Red ranks are full of people who still play like they have only just bought the game. The rank reset basically achieves nothing, because you can casually go back from rank 5 to 1 in just one day. The ranking & emblem systems really achieve nothing.

Don’t know what you mean by the last sentence. I meant the website is being trash. It didn’t send my comment firtst, than it sent it twice.

I thought it was about other comments. My misunderstanding then, apologies.

Just curious, why do you care about pipping so much?

He said he wants the achievement. Which is understandable.

There's an achievement for that? I've never noticed.

If pipping as a solo survivor is so difficult then why do I rank up so quickly when I play survivor? I know I'm a better killer, but I'm consistently at a higher rank as survivor despite playing the same amount. You just have to do a gen, a heal, a safe unhook, a few short chases and maybe a totem or another gen. It's not exactly difficult if you try, not like it is with killer. I don't even run meta builds in my survivors, just a few perks sprinkled in every other match.

I play solo at rank one. Ez pips everygame.

But who cares for it anyway ?

i think you spelled too easy wrong, plus rank means nothing anymore. i dont mean this in a harsh way but if youre struggle you probably shouldnt be red rank, iv never quite understood why people always wanna be red rank or expect to be at the top of the ranks when they still have so much to learn. i hope they make survivor harder tbh, or at least harder to pip as its a mess atm and too many people are red ranks

As someone who does solo almost all the time, it’s a horrible experience but not impossible to pip. The problem for me is knowing what pallets are used, it’s horrible running towards a loop only to find out the pallet is gone, that’s life or death situations. I have to extend each chase as long as possible, I know it takes 80 seconds to complete a gen, however, for some reason in solo it takes 60 seconds for a survivor to find a gen, mostly likely because they’re self-caring in the corner of the map. Also Kindred is a very crucial perk.

Run windows of opportunity. Fun perk.

Or plan your routes. Before I start working on a gen I know which direction the nearest pallet is.
