Not taking back my guess, just making it clearer.
Just like we got a great value brand ghost face, we will get a great value brand jason.
The mysterious survivor will be someone that has nothing to do with jason or whatever killer it is.

i want it to be slenderman, pyramid head, sirenhead or jason the only problems that i'd say there is, is how would you make slenderman possible with his height, no fitting through doors xD and jason already has a separate game however any of them i'd love :)

I think it's been widely established on the forums at this point that Candyman is B Tier
Either way my bet's on Candyman or Jason, but I can't decide on which. Could even be Alien, but unlikely, and for god sake I hope it's not Pennywise.

I'm probably the only person that's amped about Candyman and I don't understand why, the movie was amazing. The themes were well explore, the music was beautiful, and it was a tragedy. It's a very unique horror film. One of my all time favorites next to Hellraiser. Candyman's ######### up background as a murdered slave is perfect for Dead by Daylight and the implications of Helen being trapped with him is pretty ######### up, unique given that his feelings of her are a romantic obsession. It'd feel a lot more personal compared to the other killer and survivors.
Carrie would be another interesting choice, though this is highly unlikely.

Candyman. If it's not, BHVR have thrown a pretty good curve ball.
However, with regards to the "mysterious survivor", could it be Tony Hawk? I'm only pondering this because of the amount of available cosmetics for the survivor (6 new tops!), and he's worn various outfits during his career. This is obviously just a shot in the dark guess though.

probably because it doesn't ring as an emotional milestone for BHVR...there are two that come to mind.
BHVR has emoted about jason and about pennywise. Stephen King is beyond careful about his content...

My serious guess is Pinhead. The creator has said before that he's a fan of the series. Also, the killer is supposedly anti-loop, so chains might work.

he also said it will be a classic horror franchise and feature an iconic killer and a mysterious survivor. Not sure about the literal wording, but something like this.

I've honestly seen a lot of compelling arguments for Jason, Candyman, Alien and Pinhead. I want it to be Candyman but I'm genuinely convinced it's Jason or Alien.

I’ll go with the long shot, Jack Torrance. I think people would be blown away as nobody would expect it. I’m basing this off nothing, of course. Except maybe last year when the devs started following Stephen King, if that meant anything the assumption would be Pennywise, but maybe it’s Jack instead.
realistically though, I’m leaning towards Pinhead over the usual suspects.

I feel that the candyman teasers are way to high key to not be red herrings. I'm either looking at pennywise, although I cant think of what power he could have, but I'm looking at jason, hes been wanted since the start and it's a possibility of BHVR can make some deals. I'm betting 5$ on jason.
