Exit Gate Suggestion

In the Endgame, how about changing the exit gate sounds to happen earlier, instead of the buzzing at 75% to help out the killer? My proposal is at 25%, the buzzing could be heard at 72m, 36m at 50%, and 16m at 75%. This would alert the killer to cover the exit gates sooner and make it a little more difficult for us survivors. As it stands now, there's not much a killer can do once the buzzing goes off, but with the sound changes, it can make things more challenging.

Again, this is only a crude idea that I have and any versions of this that you want to share are welcomed.

it would lead to a 50-50 for the killer, which is literally the same thing as now, so it wouldn't matter. Also the real problem isn't the endgame scenario, rather everything before the endgame scenario.

As a killer and survivor main I’m going to have to say no It’s fine the way it is.

The killer already has many more advantages with the egc than survivors do, including perks, being able to identify where each gate is at all times, etc on top of already moving faster than survivors.

It’s fine the way it is.

There's a good saying that applies to this discussion. "Don't fix something that isn't broken".

Like I said, just a crude idea. Thanks for the feedback.

just make it so survivors cant 99 exit gates imo. each light should be a checkpoint, and if the survivor lets go of the gate it regresses to that point

Killers don't need any more help. In fact let's nerf the exit gates for killers all together: no sounds at all.

As to what basically everyone said, a survivor that is forced to open a gate during the Endgame collapse is at such a disadvantage, that there is little they can do to influence whether or not they are going to survive.

Nothing wrong with that.OP just wanted to know whether his/her idea was a good one or not.

I do feel like the buzzing starts later than it used to. The suggestion of a range increase is a bit eek, but it does feel like the buzzing was moved a little later than it used to be...was it?
