Whats with these #FixDBD bots
I was queuing for surv and suddenly 3 clowns joined the game, and were spamming '#FixDBD'
So, devs, care to explain what the hell is going on?

That is not bots some script kiddies have found a way into the backend and are using it to abuse streamers etc basically behavior is aware and im sure the server company is aware as to when and how it will be fixed im not sure but with all the fog whisperers being abused by it and streamers in general i imagine this is a huge issue to behavior.

I guess someone got hold of some tool to join lobbies as killer, and is using it as some sort of "whitehat" attempt at encouraging the devs to fix the game.
They could just report how they're doing it but I suspect they're probably just using it and not the ones the developed the bypass.

It's a backend in the servers im assuming but yeah i dont think they are doing it to make the devs fix anything as most of them are joining streamer lobbies and spamming racial things.

I dont believe the script kiddies can get peoples information but they are able to do a lot of evil with the servers like ddos certain streamers etc which we have already seen.

Yeah i agree steam API is usually very protected so it would be hard for the script kiddies to bypass it but none the less protection measures are welcomed.

Not sure how related this is, but I know there was a brief phase where folks would catch a streamers player Id on stream in the options screen and use that to send them from PC into the Switch queue or Xbox, etc.

Yep it is related thats why they covered peoples player ID but the script kiddies found this loophole in the backed where they can find streamers based on survivor usernames to locate the server and ddos it.

That would be a question for behavior not for me i have no clue the impact it has.
