Console ptb?

Before people start saying stuff, I'm on ps4 and have little to no idea how these ptbs function, only that they are just tests. That said, I dont know if ptbs can be brought to console or not, but if they can, why not? It would iron out a lot of bugs and issues that console has more often or exclusively. And if they are exclusive to PC, why? Is it servers and stuff like that? Sorry for being clueless

    Everything on console has to pass certification. Sony for example has to pass whatever theyre presented before bringing it to you. This is typically something that takes at least a few days and who's purpose is to make sure that what's released is functioning. PTBs arnt exactly that, lol.

    The real reason is simple. Bugs. We both know the ps4 bugs I mean space pig and the return of space billy. Idk the PC bugs or xbox bugs but they are different. Not vastly but minor ones. And yeah Sony has a bit of a strickt bug policy. no bugs that can lead to info leaks.

    I'd see a ptb for switch, since it's really an inferior console and has lots of bugs and massive lag spikes against Oni/Spirit on Hawkin's/Ormond/Yamaoka's but yeah, could be nice one day
