The sweat is real.
Like wow, New killer and you don't really want to see how he works to play against. Just rush rush rush. And you all complain about M1 simulator when durng the Ptb you are doing EXACTLY THAT. Get in a chase with the bastard instead of just doing what you all complain about.

Survivors main objective is to do gens. It is in their best interest to finish them as fast as possible. You repay them in kind by tunneling the weakest link.

I'm not exactly saying that's how I would personally be playing if I was on the PTB (I would be goofing off more and looking around the map to enjoy the scenery TBH). However, I would argue that it might actually be beneficial for people to "gen rush." If people play the game realistically like they would in the live servers, it gives a more accurate game for you to practice the killer on.

In the PTB mate? Because that is what we are talking about. No one wants to be tunneled and camped in the PTB because it is meant for testing, not being scum.

No one wants to just stand around and do nothing either. You're supposed to emulate a normal game and see what issues arise.

Not if the killer isn't doing the same.
Killer: "Oh I'm just here figuring out my new power, what are you doing"
Survivor: "Gen rushing you"
It ain't the same thing. maybe in a couple days, but not the first day. None of this is like live build on the first day unless you are god and figure out the new power and tricks as soon as you select the killer.

Then slow down. The new killer might be new to the game or something given Ptb matchmaking is even more screwed than live given I've never really play on pc and got matched with 4 rank 4s. You aren't going to get a good feel on how to play against him if the killer isn't good to begin with or if you far exceed their skill level.

First time?

If they rush gens, rush kills. Slug, camp and tunnel.

Your opponent shouldn't be forced to accommodate you. Goes both ways :)

Well people can generally do what they want. Either way it should be relatively easy to "figure out" a power through reading the description and watching videos, and even if you want to test it yourself it shouldn't be a grueling process that takes a really long game to figure out.
