Flashlight wrecks Hag/wraith ok, it pyramid ignores flashlights and whining happens
I keep seeing people complain how it’s unfair the insta cages ignore flashlight saves and hook sabo... are these the same people that tell wraith and Hag to “git gud,” when they suggest removing the effects they have against specific killers?

I think it's fair. Dunno why people wouldn't, losing out on bbq, pop, and camping is a hefty price sometimes.

It’s hardly “that guy,” it’s numerous threads and if you’ve been here you know that. Anytime someone says these are outdated mechanics they’re told to stop whining and get good... but all of a sudden one killer counters their addons and they’re out in force

That's a neat idea. Maybe a I could fit "presumptuous" and "stereotyping" on it as well. Although I would probably not find much use for them, it'd be a fun thought project at least.

There is no us vs them... I am us and them, I play survivor (with DS) in the morning and killer at night because of queue times...
I just find it funny that people insists his cage is some OP ability on day one when it has almost as many downsides as advantage

I know what you mean. People were crapping their pants in the other thread about DS not working with the cages. I just thought it was hilarious as somebody who's literally never even equipped DS to see people acting like they need this 5 second stun available on a 60 second timer after being "unhooked." Like, depending on the map, it's gonna take how long for the killer to travel all the way across the map? Most of the time you should be able to find some sort of tile to try to play around (loop him and whatnot) by the time he gets all the way back over. Also, as was mentioned above, it comes at the price of not having any killer perks that work around unhooking work either. I thought it was more crazy that he could hit through completely solid walls. When I first saw the cage thing, and especially after knowing that it spawns on the opposite side of the map, all I thought was "wow cool, it's kind of like an ability that hooks somebody quickly so you can get back into the chase again and save time." I wasn't exactly thinking "omg DS and BT can't be used on these cages!"

To be fair, both sides are bias. Killer for thinking nothings wrong (tending to put a blindfold over their eyes when a problem is in their favor, survivors do it too) and survivors for thinking that its too broken without it being even a day. From what I've watched, he can ignore a lot of mechanics in the game. Blinding, flashlight saves, carrying to the hook, ds, borrowed time, walls, loops, bodyblocking. This is kinda a lot for one killer to negate. So I can see a lot of the worry. In a general forum though, everyone here spreads their bias.
