The logical solution to long matchmaking is crossplay
I know many people are not fan of crossplay and there are certainly advantages some platform has over other.
But base on my experience with other cross play games, the benefit far outweighs the cons. The benefit to be able to match with people of similar skills and match making time far outweighs the disparity between platforms.
not to mention the ability to have all your progress , outfits across all platform make people more willing to continue to play after changing platforms, as well as additional incentive for new player to purchase. This is especially true since we are near the launch of next gen console.

Youd think that, but if ALL platforms are experiencing this than this either wouldn't effect queue times at all or would increase them.

How would cross play increase queue time? I would like to hear your reasoning.

So let's say there are 2000 PC survs and 100 killers and 1000 Console Survs and 30 killers.
Let's say on average for PC players it takes 10 minutes and for Console players it takes 15 minutes. For console it would be shorter but for PC it would be longer.

I can see your point. But more concurrent people means easier to match up with people of similar skills/ping. Even currently, its easier to match up with people at certain time (evening) than others (early morning).

The problem with crossplay, (as a almost 3 year ps4 player) is that PC gets so many unfair advantages, like modified game settings, stretched resolution, good fps, and mouse and keyboard. I do know that ps4 players can use mouse and keyboard, but the thing is that pc players have so much better fps. Ps4 and console have constant fps drops, controller, lower fps, no good settings, and so much more.

Pc does has advantages but the benefit of shorter queue time outweigh the disadvantage in my opinion.

I think they need to fix optimisation on console before that and also they need to fix the FPS drops.
