Killer Battle Royal: Who survives?

If all the killers where put in a huge gladiator area, who in your opinion would reign supreme and become the ultimate victor?

Considering all the killers strengths, weaknesses, power and weapons I would have to pick Doctor.

He could use Static Blast to effect all the other killers in the arena and pick off debilitatied victims as the others fight amongst themselves.

As other participants come closers to him, he could use Shock Therapy to hinder them and attack as they recover.

Nurse could be an issue as she levitates and would be immune from the Doctor's electricity. But I expect she would get swatted early on by Oni or caught by DeathSlinger.

Doctor's my pick. You guys?

Imaging my Trapper run away from other Killers on purpose to make them fall into his traps zone. Because unlike Doctor can zap, Billy can saw, Oni can demon strike...Trapper cant setup traps in mid fight.

That's a very good point...but he would have to be careful of Hillbilly and Leatherface chainsawing across the arena, a stray DeathSlinger harpoon or simply letting out a cough after inhaling some of Clown's tonic ๐Ÿ˜„

Put Nurse would float right over them...if she survived that long ๐Ÿ˜‰

Overall winner would probably be Demoboi. It eats bullets like nothing so most weapons wouldnโ€™t do much, it can regenerate health quickly, it can travel and pull people into the upside down, and just in general is really strong and fast. I donโ€™t think any killers could do anything against demo really, they might put up a fight but one good slash and most killers are down.

Demo would have to be careful. He would act on instinct. If he leapt on a no-hoper like Ghost Face, Legion or Pig and started to munch away...a Leatherface could creep up behind him and turn him in to Demosushi ๐Ÿ˜ฒ

Hmm true but demolagorgon has really tough skin which could maybe eat a chainsaw and give it time to react but who knows. My money is still on demo cause itโ€™s strong and cuwute.

    The Legion!

    ...

Jk they're probably the first ones to die, after the Pig and Ghostface.

I feel like the 4 of them would kill Ghostface and the Pig together, then get really cocky over killing them. Then they start fighting over who gets to wear the iconic masks. Julie and Frank kill Susie and Joey and then later they get chainsawed together by a Bubba wo wears either of their faces.

    :)

As for a winner I'd go with the Spirit. She can travel to the ethereal plane. Couldn't she like stay there until only few killers remain? Also she's already dead, has a katana, is rage incarnate and her body parts are being held together by entity magic. Also she'd probably be teaming up with the oni for a bit until she double crosses him.

Edit: but then again it says "who survives", spirit is dead ๐Ÿค”

    Final answer: everyone dies

I could imagine that. It could be like her mori, with her appearing behind him and stabbing right through him before hacking him to death.

Iโ€™d say Michael. If we donโ€™t count Pyramid. Michael is just simply immortal and fears nothing, so even Freddy coudnโ€™t screw him over. While other killers are just either humans/monters/ghosts?

Huntress has a good chance... I just imagine her sitting in the stands, blending with the spectators and chugging hatchets from there. Once it's down to herself and 1-2 other killers, she might be in trouble though.

Based on his lore, the oni has the advantage in experience, as he's already been in similar situations in his past.

Billy will be good at picking people off from the sides as long as he's careful not to get stabbed in the back after chainsawing someone.

Wraith has a good chance, unless clown and doc track him early on.

My final 3 is billy, oni and huntress and from these three, I'd put my money on oni

Freddy is the obvious pick. He's immortal and all powerful as long as he stays in the dream realm. Last time someone tried fighting him on his turf... this was the result...

The only difference between this fight and one with the rest of the DBD cast is Freddy would have alot more pinballs to play with.

It wouldn't be the first time the Yamaoka's are killing each other ๐Ÿ˜‰

Oni definitely has the overall strength advantage. He would be a hot pick to win.

    I've heard Oni and Myers.

I also agree, Oni and Myers.

But only survivors who sleep would potentially be effected. Hag and Spirit would be safe from having nightmares.

Doctor, whilst being a living mortal, has his eyes pinned open...so he should be resistant to sleep! ๐Ÿ˜„

You also have to be scared of him, he loses power if you're not afraid of him.

Problem is that once she's thrown all her five hatchets...She would be just sitting there with a box of popcorn and a diet coke ๐Ÿ˜„

Nurse could fly up there or DeathSlinger could chain her from the arena floor.

But Huntress would definitely get stuck in to the battle. She could easily take out Legion, Ghost Face and Pig in simply melee combat.

Well there it is. Who would be scared of him? He looks horrific and has that bladed glove. Might be able to put the frighteners up the Legion or maybe Amanda Young/Pig. I think Ghost Face wouldn't be that bothered.

Doesnt Michael have a immortal curse?

  • LordGlint
    LordGlint Member Posts: 9,780

Thats the thing though. The entity pressed the delete button on his 1 restriction/weakness. Freddy's lore states that the entity tweeked his powers when she brought him into the fog.

    Pyramid head if course.

  • Dr33
    Dr33 Member Posts: 5

If we count piramid head I think that he would not have much problem in winning since he is immortal and totally immune to firearms or mele because in the game you can shoot him as much as you want but he will not even hesitate.

The only way to defeat him is to atone for your sins and given the profile of the assassins I think that none could achieve that.

PD: Sorry for my poor English.

  • Dr_Loomis
    Dr_Loomis Member Posts: 3,703

It's true that Pyramid Head has a high tolerance for bullets, but it does slow him down.

Also, the two Pyramid Heads at the end of Silent Hill 2 take their own lives by lifting their masks and impaling a spear in to their heads. So he can be killed like the other creatures in Silent Hill, I think.

He would be a handful in the arena though, especially with that bloody big knife.

  • Accullla
    Accullla Member Posts: 984

Haha, you're right - she might have to run back and forth between the locker rooms and the stands to reload her hatchets, which might be a bit annoying.

In terms of getting sniped by deathslinger or spotted by nurse - she feels beefier than both of them, so she should be able to take them 1 - 1. If she gets pulled back to the arena early on, she might be in trouble though, I agree.

  • Dr_Loomis
    Dr_Loomis Member Posts: 3,703

She could just let DeathSlinger pull her close then clunk him straight in the head with her huge axe. The HatSplitter! ๐Ÿ˜„

Hag would get dropped by anyone. Plague would vomit on everyone and kill everyone slowly but surely be dead before that.Huntress has skills, dont beleaive me watch her rift animation. Oni is experienced and could potentially win. Freddy could also be invincible when there asleep. Doc cant sleep from those eye things but his power would be worthless against nurse since she's already crazy. Nurse could get a few hits but be swept when hit. Clown could bring people to the ground but do nothing with that trash knife. Trapper is a bully dude but cant do much just swing a machete as he'll get git from behind trying to trap. Billy would now down most competitors. If wraith got caught, he'd be gone. Legion together could get one person at least but get killed instantly due to their trash power. Ghost face is useless. Spirit might be unstoppable. Myers is strong af and might also win. Bubba is lethal but isn't smart enough to survive. Pyramid head would just decapitate most people. If Salinger shot the wrong person like Micheal, Micheal will pull the slinger to him anbl break his other leg and more. Demo is dangerous but fragile. Pig would would also die.

Out of all of that I think the winner would be in imo... blendette self caring in a corner of the map. You just wasted your time reading this.

Thanks for correcting the slowdown thing, I didn't remember xD

Although the moment in which the PHs are killed with a pike only happens when Jaimes decides to accept his sins and redeem

So there is always the question of whether he can be killed, or if the only solution is to force he commit suicide once his mission is over.

Well he doesn't after he's killed in part IV and then is undead from then on...unless we include that ridiculous scene in Freddy vs Jason ๐Ÿ˜‚ sleeeeepy Jaaaaason.

Ohhhh we are so about to argue on so many levels ๐Ÿ˜‚

    Jason was always undead

    And that scene was awesome!

  • Dr_Loomis
    Dr_Loomis Member Posts: 3,703

Always undead? He survived drowning and was just a regular fella (except for living in the woods and chopping people up). He then got killed by a young Tommy Jarvis in part IV and got brought back via a lightening bolt in part VI. From then on he's undead.

As for the sleeeeeepy Jaaaaason sequence...he looked very comfortable getting a bit of shut eye.

What kind of person survives being hung and catching an axe to tge face. Watch parts 2 through 4 again back to back and keep in mind those three movies occur over a span of just a few days. Theres no way that dude wasnt already a walking corpse

I think they upped his resiliency to make the film more exciting. Although yes, normally outside 'movie land' a normal person would of died from those injuries or certainly have been incapacitated.

But you have to look at other films:

Take Friday 13th part V - A New Beginning: The killer, a human, Roy Burns is struck by a speeding tractor. Moments later he's chasing his prey again.

What about the original Halloween? Michael Myers gets stabbed in the neck with a knitting needle, then in the eye with a metal coat hanger, then in the chest with a kitchen knife, then gets shot six times before falling off a balcony on to the ground below...and moments later he's up and about.

This was done with no indication he was anything else than a normal human. The whole Cult of Thorn nonsense wasn't even a thought at this point.

It's been done in so many films, not only horror. It's all about making a relentless antagonist, regardless of ignoring their mortality.

Oni would win. There would be enough blood to keep him in his super mode for the entire royal.

  • Dead_by_Gadfly
    Dead_by_Gadfly Member Posts: 3,772

Roy is at least a little believable, unlikely but not impossible.

Michael is the boogeyman and the embodiment of pure evil. Hes not a regular man and also cannot be killed. Undead isnt the right word for him, but pure evil is. And evil never dies ๐Ÿ˜Š Loomis tells you this several times throughout the movie.

Jason was always dead, he died in that lake back when he was a kid. He slept for awhile and then woke up, the lightning in part 6 woke him up again.

    Dead_by_Gadfly Member Posts: 3,772

@Dr_Loomis Just as an aside I spoke to Sean Cunningham once and tried to get him to admit Jason was undead and he refused to do so, so that lends some credence to your argument, BUT Sean has always refused to comment one way or the other so ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Depending if her sickness could affect everyone, from ghosts to immortal killers, then Plague's infection could end up killing everyone, but she probably wouldn't be able to survive long enough to be the winner.

One thing I will say: I always found the notion that Jason survived drowning, made a shack in the woods and lived off the land and NOBODY ever found him, for YEARS, even though police would be searching the lake and the surrounding area for the boy.

But that's the actual storyline ๐Ÿ˜‚ according to the film-makers, we have to believe that and we have to believe Jason is the most resistant man that ever lived.

There has been other human killers who have withstood ridiculous anounts of punishment:

Maniac Cop: impaled on pole through stomach and crashes van in to water. He manages to climb out and is back and about in no time. (he later became undead through voodoo resurrection)

Victor Crowley (Hatchet): Gets shot, hit with a shovel, stabbed with a pitchfork, set on fire and then impaled on a pole...shortly afterwards he's back on the hunt.

It's the old "He's not dead yet" retro horror approach of presenting the unrelenting villain.

  • Dr_Loomis
    Dr_Loomis Member Posts: 3,703

Well he can't argue with post part VI being undead as he literally climbed out a grave after several years ๐Ÿ˜‚

But the Friday 13th series is full of inconsistences...Jason's attire changes...the apperance of boy Jason...and some ridiculous plot holes. I suppose it's down to the viewers to make up in their owns minds some of the uncertain details.

  • Dead_by_Gadfly
    Dead_by_Gadfly Member Posts: 3,772

Victor Crowley is also undead, did you watch all 3 of them?

They never say any of that in the movies. The only thing we know for sure is 1) he drowned znd his body was never found. Which raises the question how do they even know he drowned unless someone saw him drowning.

    2) hes seen at the end of part 1 as a little boy (though this could have easily been a dream)

    3) hes walking around as a full adult murdering people and taking an impossible amount of damage.

What happens in between those things is left fully to interpretation and up for debate. And Im ignoring Jason Goes to Hell for sake of argument, because that one ends discussion
