STBFL is lowkey one of the best perks
The map reworks spaced out tiles more and reduced pallet spawns. Which means you’re really likely to catch Survivors before they can make it to the next tile with enough stacks of STBFL.
Before tiles and pallets chained so close it wasn’t as noticeable

Good on Pig & Demo that’s it, you can’t actively ignore 1 survivor because “stacks”

I am still waiting for the stupid shrine to feature it and BBQ. I feel like I'll be old and decrepit before it becomes available.

It’s unoptimised gameplay, you’re effectively letting 1 survivor run around and do gens.
You don’t have to yes, STBFL is a good perk because it enables quick downs at 6,7,8 stacks. Normal attacks on the obsession turns this great perk into nothingness.
Unless you try for grabs then you’re engaging in chases with the obsession hoping they’ll window vault. They’ll soon catch onto this and just waste your time.
