Anyone else not thrilled to play killer? Too stressful

I'm a purple killer and I just barely click that ready button.

It's just too stressful, I jump out of my chair anytime I combat looping. Hearing the gens, and the t-bagging and absolute bullying at times.

Now this game feels like some job that I have to do but I keep postponing because of how uninviting it is.

It's not the most relaxing experience, that's for sure.

There is more pressure on the killer, especially when going for Adepts etc.

And then there's the 4 on 1 mentality.

killers complain about this for years... and what happens? nothing, so dont expect some changes i balance in the future.

even with most obvious flaws u see in the matchmaking the devs still think its cool to balance this game for grey ranks...

Just play the way you like, dont care for the survivors just for your own fun.

That's how I play and this will make the game less stressfull.

And if you hate teabagging survivors at the exit gate try NOED+deathslinger and quick scope them at the gate. Remember to get some popcorn for the endgame chat😂

Watch streamers etc, you end up getting better to the point where you decimate most matches

Actually the devs mentioned they're going to change up the early game by implementing something mechanically like the EGC in their latest stream if I remember correctly.

It's all about practice and strategy. If you think something can work then keep trying until you decide it doesn't. When I was practicing Demogorgon I threw a few games just to learn the best way to combat certain loops with them and now I'm unstoppable. Don't take the game so seriously and the bullying become a lot less pf a problem.

I dont get bullied by Survivors. Rarely someone is disrespectful ingame. Maybe in Postgame Chat, either when they lost or when they won, but whatever.

Like, I had to slug someone because I needed 4 Hooks in Endgame, and they were obviously angry. It was Russian, but it looked angry as hell, lol.

But other than a little bit of Shitposting in Postgame Chat? Nah.

Just had a tilting game in Grim Pantry.

One of the reasons I hate playing that map so much is because the survivors I always get matched up in that map tend to be the best of the best and I don't know why. It's like that map sucks away all of my skill as a Killer and spreads it throughout evenly for all 4 of the survivors.

Killer definitely can be stressful, but it genuinely isn't as bad as what it used to be.

You actually don’t have to play killer if you don’t want to. Same goes with survivor or the entire game. If you don’t have fun playing it then don’t. Or you just need to pause for a few days/weeks.

i had that feeling when I tried to go for killer adepts. But the same feeling when I tried survivor adepts or dailys to open gate/escape and i get tunneled/bad teammates. When playing for fun/trying to get better at a killer power etc I don’t feel really that stressed at all.

I just started playing more killer after a couple hundred hours as survivor. Stress wise, it feels about the same, except as killer I have more control in directing my opponent's actions. But ya' know, when I, a rank 15 legion, get paired with a rank 2 survivor, that is painful. I've only ever hit rank 3 in survivor myself.

I've only been truly bullied once now, and it was when I was rank 20 & got matched with a rainbow. They actually apologized, lol. It is a crappy feeling though.

Playing killer is much stressful than playing survivor, at least for me. I'm playing killer more now, to do the challenges, but I have to switch between the roles, because a lot of killer rounds in a row is torture. As a survivor, even when you mess up, the other survivors can help you out, but as a killer, you mess up, too bad for you. Also, getting t-bagged after every pallet dropped is just toxic and most of the survivors I go against do this, even just when I found them at the start, first pallet down, the t-bagging starts...

Man, I love playing both sides. I always focus on the survivor challenges first as it takes long to find matches and find them more difficult to accomplish. I feel the issue that most people have playing killer is they take things way too seriously. Once you stop taking everything seriously and you play on your own terms, it's a blast.

The thing is though, ranks 13 to 20 are so killer sided that it's not even funny (assume that everyone is of similar rank. This will never be the case anymore but if we assume everyone in the lobby is grey ranks etc. Then the game is incredibly killer sided)

    Kiiinda hard when you're rather competitive ^^;

I personally like to play as optimally as I can and try to keep Meme/Farming/Just-for-Fun Games at a minimum because when I play a game, I aim to win, not necessarily have fun during the match. Winning is fun for me. Which is probably why I get easily tilted or stressed when an opponent outplays me
