Anyone else a fan of Dark Sense/Bitter Murmur?

I always feel like people don't like them and I'm the only one that uses them. I kinda just figure in my mind as survivor,if you get the gen on and the killer isnt in a chase,he's coming that way. As killer the one gaurantee is they will get at least a gen on in a decent match. Then you can see how many people are on it,which direction they are headed etc. I know there are probably better choices, but I didn't have any of the DLC chapters until recently and I sure don't have them levelled. Bitter Murmur seems to pair well with Monitor and Abuse. I dunno, does anyone else use them at all,or in a certain way amybe I haven't thought of?

Dark Sense, yes. Bitter Murmur, not so much. I don't need aura reading to know where the survivors are - they're at the generator. Killer aura reading is usually very lackluster compared to the survivor versions.

I can't really disagree. Kinda depends on the pressure of the killer and the situation. There's been a good few times where I've seen someone ducking near the gen and letting someone else do it lol. Seen it as survivor more than killer though. I've also seen people do then gen and when it pops they immediately get into a locker. Now I don't have to waste time guessing, you know? Or there's been that rare occasion where I can't find anyone, then see the gen pop and see three people running off of it in the direction of the next one lol. But yeah, there's better choices as killer.

I like both of them. Bitter Murmur is when i first started playing. Dark Sense is better paired, in my opinion, with Poised and Q&Q. I use that from time to time.

That's a good point. Would probably be more useful for never players. I literally just started buying the chapters. I just bought the last two I needed last night. So the only person I have BBQ on is Cannibal, and he's definitely not my first choice when I want to play killer, lol. I'm definitely grinding him first though.

Hmm. I'm trying to think how that would help. Like easier to make distance quietly?

Bitter Murmur is especially juicy when you get some pleb go down to the basement or begin interacting with a chest or totem. A real hoot with a stealth killer.

Dark Sense is a perk I do actually use quite regularly, but to be fair Spine Chill is a much better option. I only use the 'sense if I don't have the chill.

Dark Sense is a decent perk, because as a survivor, you get that opportunity to do a sweep round to seek the killer's aura.

As Killer, Bitter Murmur is hit and miss, because - in my experience - it invariably happens when I'm in a chase, soby the time I turn to look it's too late. However, when I do get the chance, and I see 2 or more running a certain direction, it's almost the equivilant of a bunch of free hits.

I forgot Lithe/Sprint Burst. It is for quick getaways, especially when you hear the killer coming towards you.

I swear when I use Bitter Murmur with Monitor and Abuse,I've had people run right to within inches of me,lol. And not just a few times either. Probably gives them a bit of a jolt when they realize. I'm definitely not above getting free hits here and there.
