Survivors Cheating with Outside Programs

survivors are using program undetectable by EAC to block killers from matching with them why they not getting banned for it?

This gives big advantage, they can tell who the killer is before the match starts, and block them if they think they are too good to beat. Slowing down matchmaking times. I don't know what program it is called but i have heard a few use it.

Can dev's plz respond or punish the cheaters?

How exactly would anyone do that with dedicated servers? Not even old MLGA worked that way, players still had to manually leave a lobby if someone they had blocked was there.

And even if such a program exists it's most likely 100% undetectable by EAC anyway. MLGA for example didn't do anything that a dedicated player couldn't do with any sort of connection monitoring software, a notepad document and patience, and it just threw an overlay on top of the screen. It didn't actually interact directly with the game's process, files or memory in any way whatsoever.

It actually is a thing. I have a couple friends that use this, although I don't know the name of the program because they won't tell me. To me it takes a big aspect of the game out which is not knowing who the killer is. I hope BHVR figures this out and gets this program blocked.

    cough

Before dedicated servers on came to PS4. You were able to see who the killer was before the match started and this was my favorite feature as I knew who to dodge, because I already had them blocked and mark as not to go against.

Reason because they are dogcrap grade A pieces of jerk killers.

I think you should be able to block or dodge people who you don’t wanna go against. Now since dedicated servers are out on PS4 and you can no longer see killers names - 80% of my killers I go against are the killers that I had ALREADY HAVE Blocked and I keep getting them BACK TO BACK. Which ruins my gaming experience because these people are Freaking stepped on bubble gum that won’t come off my shoe.

Thats wrong, Killers dodged just because they dont wont to have a bad matchup. They doge cause of items, skins or even names. The only difference is killers are allowed to dodge to their hearts content, where survivors do not get even a glimpse on whos the killer. Thats obviously a big advantage for killers. And its obviously unfair.

Out of curiosity, specifically what made you block them?

A cynica person may think you would just block any killer than dominated your team so eventually you knew whoever you played against was someone you’ve beaten before...

Luckily I’m not cynical so like I said WHAT makes you consider someone a dog crap killer? Camping, tunneling, addons, Freddy?

Camping, tunneling, and moring off hook after continuous back to back games then bragging that you’re a good killer and that’s your as a killer playstyle I want no part of it and truly you are dogcrap. if you find enjoyment in ruining others gaming experience I will block you. I play for fun and I play for bloodpoints I don’t care if I die or escape. I will not be denied making at least 17-20k+ bloodpoints. I refuse to die with just 9k or least bloodpoints because the killer wants to be a jerk. it’s unfair as a killer can make more bloodpoints easier than a survivor.

Game data is NOT encrypted so 3rd party mods are easily used by players that plan to ruin the gameplay experience for others.

Everything from modifying their position on the map, to cheats which reveal locations of level objects, to faking hits or dodges. It is the typical "Norm" for online games and we ALL wish it could be prevented. But no amount of anti-cheat software really helps anything. Sadly.

If 80% of the killers are someone you marked with "not play", you mark people for way too little.

4/5 of the playerbase not good to play with? The problem is probably with you.

80% of my games are AGAINST the same (2-5) exact killer

    NOT

I blocked and marked 80% of different killers to not play against.

    please read carefully.

This is not good. However it also pales in comparison to people that exploit their ######### connection. Something that is very preventable yet nothing gets done about.

    🤦‍♂️

Yes... play against... changes so much... you're certainly not playing with them on different "teams"

No no... it totally makes it all different to say against instead of with. Yes.

Well i would be fine with it, if killers and survivors had the same information about their opponents, including infos about swfs. As you said, everyone should decide if they want to play the game or not.

i dont how that affects anyone. so all they do is exit the lobby? who cares?

The killer can't see your rank and as survivors, we can't see each other's ranks in the lobby? Otherwise, I agree with you, The Matchmaker should be more balanced based on similarly-situated players on skill.

If there's something genuinely wrong with a player, report them. Displaying usernames in the lobby for killer would just mean You'd be like "oh that person is a huntress main" or whatever and defeat the purpose of obscuring that info in the first place.

The report system is absolutely useless. I sent a video some days ago (speedhack proofs). A guy from the support center just closed my ticket. He didn`t let me know a result of investigation. I sent a new request, but he deleted it. That`s how it works. They don`t want ever reply, except stupid copypasta. I think there are not real investigations.

He may have been banned, they don’t tell you when they do.

Can we get an update on that? MLGA is not working anymore but there's another programm MLEB now with similar functionality that is used for the same reasons. How can this kind of software be allowed?

Until killers are not able to see the names of the survivors in the lobby, I have no problem with it. BEHAVIOR is being hypocritical by letting Killers see survivors names WHILE not permitting survivors from seeing the killer's name. It's ridiculous to say that survivors will dodge a killer BUT the same is not also true regarding killers.

And what value would get out of the killers name? He can change his name at any time and can set the profile to private.

If survivors could see the killer it would make all good killers wait for ages to play the game. And the reasons why survivors would dodge the killer are just ridiculous. "I don't like playing against Freddy\Legion\Hag\Spirit....." "This guy kicked my ass" "This guy doesn't leave hook when there are survivors swarming it, he is a camper!" and so on. So I am pretty sure that's not healthy for the game. And the only thing killers dodge I guess SWF, though I just change my loadout if I suspect SWF.

yeah the mleb program is bs being able to see who the killer is while in lobby, had a 4 man swf and one of them was streaming, checked the vod and one of them called it out that i was playing oni in the lobby. killed them all and one said i was blocked lmao. its a shame because i love going after those types of players that get boosted and play 4 mans with comms

I should point out - you don't need a program to do this. BHVR in their infinite wisdom decided it was a good idea to store the killers ID in plain text, where anyone can open the file in notepad and find out who it is before the game starts. The programs just make the process easier. Does that make it right? No, of course not; but the problem is on BHVR, and them alone.

You really think that would be the only reason for killers to dodge?

heck, I have dodged lobbies as killer because of Steam profiles or names. And I can guarantee you killers dodge lobbies when they get matched against good survivors that „kicked their ass“ in a match prior. And that without any SWF involved.
