The best of survivor hate mail
So I played a game as Wraith and was doing quite well against my group of survivors when I went for a gen grab and was stuck in the animation for 2 minutes.
Sadly it was impossible to bounce back from that so I had to do my best to at least safety pip and decided to tunnel. I don't advocate that normally but they had a 2 minute free for all. I still managed a 2k and kept my Rank 1 so Im proud of that.
This survivor died at the end of the match and watched from the hook as his friends jumped into the hatch. Saltiness continued into post-game chat. Here's a snippet:
I like to stir the pot and didn't mind engaging in this conversation, but it's kind of amazing to see how tilted people can get playing DbD...even when thrown an unexpected and huge advantage.

Messages like this are cringe. We all get bad games, no need to boast your own self-esteem like this. I'm sure the same person rages every other game anyway. This is actually being a bad winnner and is looked down upon

Hm...if you were an actual God at the game,wouldn't you try to make a channel or something to make a few bucks? I sure would,lol. I really just try not to engage with people. I don't want things to escalate on either end. Better to just let it be. I don't like being accused of things I didn't do though. That does get to me sometimes. I got a message one time saying if I didn't camp this person I could've got a 4k. But I had no idea what they were talking about because I didn't and everyone escaped. Maybe got confused with another match,I dunno.

Yeah this person is clearly a child lmao. One of the disadvantages of ps4 is the children. My mate (who is 30) once sent a salty message to a freddy who tunnelled him , and after they argued for ages and started accusing each other of being immature it transpired that the freddy was 11. He doesn't send salty messages anymore :')

This was SUPER tame. If this is the worst salt you get you must play fairly decent. Or maybe PC is just a way bigger dumpster fire than console.

It's not the best because of a lack of slurs and other stuff. It's the, "Best of" because the survivor is a moron. Lol

This is still very tame, not close to the real console experience, so far with my pc experience I have never gotten actual hate, just the classic "camper" when all gens are done and I have nowhere to go even though I saw 3 survivors near the hook.
Console takes a big chunk of the cake if you ask me, this is nothing yet

Yeah i seen the classic camper for guarding the gens once while playing on the pc myself. Funny enough, every other group after that. Seem to understand, a killer is meant to keep them from doing the gens.

I was running Totem Protector Spirit and got 1 kill while trying to enjoy myself. The horror, I know.

I killed a 4 man SWF on PC a couple of months ago and one of them messaged me saying that they hoped I would die of cancer followed by the n word and "piece of sh**". I reported them on steam but I don't think anything came of it. Worst part: I wasn't even running a mori or camping or tunneling, I was just using Freddy...
Another time I was playing SWF with my gf and everyone died except for me and a Feng. My gf spectated Feng and while I was doing a gen, she was just Urban Evasioning across the map and when she found the hatch, she just camped it hoping I would die. I ran to her and started vaulting the window to get the Killers attention and he killed us both. I got another "I hope you die of cancer" message.
I find that PC players are usually more tame than ps4 players because they can give you crap post game chat but if someone messages you on Steam it'll always be nasty.

thatts nothing i have pictures of people wishing me canc** , will fuc* my mother, wished all my family to die, etc. of course i report all that ######### but still i dont know if they are doing anything is so sad. do devs send you a message if they took any action? because i just recieved the mail from the bot saying that the ticket was recieved.

I glitched as a killer, it was horrible. I have zero idea what the players saw but they were nice afterwards. I chased one that kept chasing me, hooked each one without needing to work at it. Let them heal each other, glitched again trying to grab a vaulting Meg and was stuck for a bit, they messaged me we chatted while I waited to unglitch. During the chat we talked about our dailies. So that's what we finished up after I was able to move again.
I was trying to get some kills before that first glitch and figured the game was a total waste now. I got lucky. Doesn't happen often.

I remember when this one teammate rage messaged me that I should be shot.This was all because The killer was hook camping and just stood there.I replied back with sure blame your teammates for your own stupidity😎.You were the one trying to get the killers attention.

The only "hate" message I remember was actually kinda funny. He said as much as:
"Fine... you ruined no-nut-november for me. You happy now?"
It was just so random and -compared to typical hate messages- creative it actually made me laugh.

Good to know people do understand that, some people don't know that a killer is supposed to patrol gens and if nothing is happening a killer can check on the hook and leave.

I was playing Nurse on Legions map. This was before her "rework" back when she could actually blink a good distance. I was near the shack and hooked someone. BBQ reveals someone on the far opposite corner of the map. I blink through the middle building to get to them. My first blink into the building I see a Claudette crouched behind a table and the gen is 60%. I change direction and hit her. In the end game chat that person asked me this.
How did you know I was there?
I didn't. BBQ showed me someone on the other side of the map. I was blinking through the building and saw you by chance
I'm Claudette. I'm invisible. The only way you could have seen me is if you were wall hacking. REPORTED!
It is possible for the killer to find you when your Claudette. You know this right?

I had the same glitch but it was a Claudette on my shoulder. Apparently the bug stop me from hooking,breaking and grabbing surviving.
