No faith in solo survivor
Just finished a match where a Kate was helping Freddy to sandbag me, then Freddy led her to the hatch for escape lol. I reported them, might be a waste of time, but it makes me feel better.

Good you reported them, that is considered Teaming and is bannable

Solo queue is literally torture. Last match I had a dc, suicide on second hook and someone leave through hatch with a key without me and they weren't being chased. You get the worst possible teammates in solo queue.

Honestly you have to enjoy getting ######### on to be able to enjoy solo survivor. Every solo survivor match I loop the killer for minutes without getting 1 single gen in return, every match I get into struggle on my first hook, every match people hide in a corner while I pump out at least 3 gens on my own after multiple chases, every match it's ME who has to open the gate after doing practically everything on my own. At this point solo survivor feels like going against the killer 1 vs 1. I never feel the impact of teammates (unless they sandbag me with their damn Urban Evasion while I'm looping the killer).
When I'm done with the survivor challenges I'm definitely not going to touch survivor anytime soon again unless the developers finally remove all these ######### players from red ranks.

I hope you also sent a ticket with video evidence to DbD support as well or else that report might just go in vain.
It really sucks to go against players like that. I had some Claudette and Leatherface do the same a while back, so obnoxious.

Yeah solo survivor which i play all the time as survivor. Is basically a coin flip, if match making is working correctly. If you will get team mates that are useful or just pure dead weight. Had a game recently, which had two megs. One of them kept moving around in a circle for some reason near a gen and seem scare to death, to so much as touch the gen. I forget if that meg had med kit or a toolbox. It took them until a gen was almost finish until they join in. They were also red rank. Me and the Yui, were the only two survivors to get above 10k points. The other two aka the megs were like 6k or below. They when down super fast and easy to the killer.

Yeah matches like that are awesome. Where somehow you and a handful of random strangers, somehow know just what to do, without saying so much as a single word.

Those matches with perfect synergy are the reason I keep playing survivor. Solo survivor gameplay can be a lot of fun when everyone is pulling their weights.
However for the past 2 days I have been repeatedly getting complete loser teams consisting of "fake red ranks" as I call them now - that basically only play for the fun of the killer based on their stupid decisions and crazy bad chase performance.
They won't touch a gen, they won't distract the killer even if someone else is injured AND on death hook, they won't unhook in time OR TOO EARLY (before the killer even had a chance to leave the hook) and they consistently go down in 10-20 seconds from the healthy state.
I just can't take this stupidity anymore. Today they seriously managed to make me rage quit and switch to another game (Borderlands 3).
No DC penalty in the world can force me to play with people who are seemingly trying to play with their buttcheeks!

yeah ######### swf, let's nerf them, solos are doing great

I had someone kill themselves on hook, after getting hook for their first time. Said person in question, stuck around until post game chat, just to say bad game. Like they screwed over their team. Than stuck around just to say bad game at the end. Like i have to question their logic. Maybe the game would of been a good one, if they didn't screw over their team by killing themselves so quickly, they got only 2k points. Solo survivor can be "fun" at times.

Perhaps she failed the skillchecks on purpose. I had to deal with one of those trolls a while ago myself. He kept missing skillchecks and stopped healing me at 99%. The killer took advantage of the situation and he escaped via the hatch.
And people wonder why good players eventually play in a SWF team. Honestly I can't blame them. If I didn't prefer playing killer I would probably try and build a proper SWF team myself. Even without voice coms you would -at least- know how competent they are, what builds they run etc.

Reminds me of a match I had yesterday (even though it was a different scenario).
A Wraith started snowballing like an instasaw Hillbilly during the first few seconds of the game. 2 survivors down, 3rd survivor starts hiding.
I was literally just starting to work on the first gen. First survivor kills themselves on hook immediately, second one goes into struggle, third survivor was still hiding in lockers (I had bond and didn't see the aura of the 3rd survivor during my entire chase).
I was on the other side of the map and wondered why they were doing this. Why even play the game if you're basically planning to screw over the team before the match has even started?
Luckily the killer had BBQ so he went for me on the other side of the map and... Well... You would expect the hiding survivor to unhook the other survivor while I was getting chased right? WRONG. Instead the survivor (a Laurie Strode) let the other survivor die on their first hook AND decided not to repair gens.
I ended up getting chased for over 4 full minutes in 1 single chase. Killer still got a 4k at 5 gens. Turns out the last survivor wanted a hatch escape and blamed everyone else including me.
Like what was I supposed to do? Unhook the person on the other side of the map while getting chased? Was I supposed to repair all gens by myself while getting chased?
I recorded the chase and the clip starts exactly when the survivor dies on their first hook. Maybe I should upload it to make several points one being the fact that rank doesn't mean anything on both sides (the killer was a rank 2 and still needed more than 4 minutes to down me like a rank 20 killer) and the other point being that people eventually play in a SWF team for a reason.
Not because they want to bully killers but because it's like the only chance to consistently have fun matches as survivor. At least that's what I think.
That's why I don't even dodge people that look like SWF teams. I get it. They want a fun match without brainless potatoes who think of the hatch at 5 gens.

Yeah, looking forward to a fixed system as well. Teammates can be the worst.

Maybe , but without a video he can't prove it.

Reminds me of a game i had awhile ago, i forget what the ranks were. Only the person hiding in the locker was a Dwight.
Two people hook in basement. Killer after me, leading them half way across the map. More than enough time surely for my team mate to get to the basement and unhook the other two, right right? Surely they must of notice i took a hit and are on their way there? Nope. They were hiding in a locker, until i got down. They only came out of the locker , once i was down. Needless to say that game did not go well.
Which another game which had to do with someone jumping into lockers. A Jane. They were a rank 2. They kept jumping into a locker over and over again. Unhook them, heal them up. Into a locker they would go. Only me and the Laurie were i do believe the only two survivors who did any gens. The third one, i think they were trying to help the Jane but kept getting screwed over by the Jane. I don't think they even had head on. Rather just trying to annoy the killer or screw over the team, seem the most likely two cases. Needless to say, the game did not go well. Like the only good thing that came out of that game, was a few decent blood points, due to running we're gonna live forever.
Yeah with all the cases of survivors that somehow made it to super high ranks and seem to not have even a basic understanding of what they are doing. It understandable why someone would rather play with friends, than solo. Since at least you know how bad or good your friends are. If they don't just go and play some killer, since hey, at least as killer you don't have to worry about your team mates screwing you over.

What do you mean? I've been assured repeatedly how easy survivor is.

I heard a rumor you got your name from doing the same thing...Boosted Dwight, terror of MacMillan Estate.

I'm on PS4, didn't know you could submit video through there, unless you record gameplay, which I don't since I'm not a streamer. I just reported them for unsportsmanlike behavior. If I have to submit video, why do they have the option to report players if it's that useless?

I had 4 games in a row where 1 survivor works with the killer.

I am not overly surprised given how some people on the forums try to argue that survivors aren't a team.
Thus they do things to help themselves escape thus "Winning" is all that matters regardless of what happens to their team(like purposely sand bagging a teammate to try to get the killer off of themselves).
To these players going out of their way to screw their team to save themselves is how they argue the game should be played by survivors.

Oh no I'd never. I spread my terror with Head On stuns. No one suspects a baby Dwight in a locker to fight back. >:)
I'm not so sure myself as I don't really know the in and outs of the report system however I do know in cases like this it's highly recommended to submit a ticket with video evidence. So in situations like this you should send an in game and submit a ticket to DbD Support if you want something to happen.
You can clip your games on Ps4 by clicking on the share button and saving your clip. Then go to your Capture Gallery, trim the clip to your desired length, and upload it to YouTube. From there go to support and create a ticket. Share the information necessary and share your video.

Fun fact, I once didn't do an ingame report because I had a habit where I skip the score screen. Luckily for me, I had a video of the person who exploited a part in the map and send in a ticket.
Later, they told me action was taken even though I never used the ingame reporting system. They do have a log system where they can check the most recent games and it looks like they will compare the video with the game to find a match.
Feels good that the support team can be so effective! 😅

Sometimes when I play soloQ I wonder if my mates are actually the killers than the killer itself. 🙄

Survivor solo queue is not good like swf is. Survivor is pretty easy if you have good teammates, but if you get bad teammates, it's terrible.
