Controller bug on pc

there is a controller bug on PC(and supposedly console, too) that causes stuttering and slowing down at random intervals when trying to move as either killer or survivor. It’s random, but very frequent and happens just about every game. There doesn’t seem to be any cause besides using a controller even if it’s a new, different controller.

    I'm on ps4 and have experienced this exact thing as survivor has been pretty infrequent so has been managable, but today i experieced it for the first time as killer. I was stuck in a chase with a feng min and we were keeping the exact distance. I had assumed it was my new controller as it seemed to only start after I have got that but it has also happened on my other older controller that worked fine. and a friend of mine also on ps4 told me he has also started to experience this.
