Which perk is the best perk for both roles?

Now, this thread is not about how many times you get to use the perk, but about how useful it is when you actually use it, regardless of if you use it only once every ten games, or maybe every game. Which perk do you consider to be the best perk to save you and your team, or get you the 3k - 4k?

As survivor: Unbreakable? BT? Self Care? Mettle of Man?

As killer: Devour Hope? Hounted Grounds? Rancor? Blood Warden?

Edit: Pick any perk from the game and explain, not only the ones I mentioned

If I have to choose from only these perks to pick the most useful, then Borrowed Time and Haunted Grounds.

IMO, for survivor, landing a BT in a specific moment and using the "extra" hit of the unhooked guy properly to body block a NOED hit, feels satisfying AH, so, I'm voting for BT. And, for killer, Hounted Grounds has given me the advantage I needed and even an early game 4k, so, yes, I won't use it with every killer, but, if it works, iit usually gives me an early ultra advantage.

@PureHostility No, sorry, I meant every existing perk, there, edited the post

It's "Mettle of Man", just FYI. "Mettle" basically means "resilience/courage in the face of adversity".

    Then if any...

I'd say Self Care is probably the best killer perk, especially paired with an addon or perk that gives the survivor Mangled.

Dead Hard is the best survivor perk. You might get DS'd (dedicated servered) once in a while but the perk is so versatile. It's by far the most frustrating perk to go against as a killer, assuming the survivor is using it properly.

Without a doubt Save the Best for Last is the best killer perk. It's amazing on pretty much every killer. The few it's not so good on can still make use of it, it's just not as good as their optimal way to attack.

    Borrowed and Pop

For survivor, I'd say either DS or DH, because the killer has to assume you have one or both of them at all times.

It's gonna be Borrowed Time for survivors, but for killers it will vary from killer to killer. Monitor & Abuse is practically a must for Myers but basically useless on Huntress. The only perk I use on all killers is BBQ & Chili, and that's not because of how strong it is in game. Loads of perks are stronger. I use it for the bloodpoint bonus.

@Blueberry @MadArtillery I have never used Pop, I don¿t care about gens being done, they just never get out, and if 1 manages to get out it's cause they beat me to hatch. I play Trapper main with end game basement build, exit gate's levers trapped + Blood Warden + Dumb survivors not leaving are what ALWAYs give me the 3k+

I'll try pop, I've never used it, but I'll give it a shot

For survivor, Borrowed Time. I practically never take it out of my build.

For killer, NOED gives free downs and can secure so many sacrifices.

    Whispers and Sprint Burst.

    For my experience personally

Survivor: Borrowed Time. This perk has saved me and my teammates more times than I can count.

Killer: Devour Hope. Devour Hope is 100% my favorite killer perk and it's really strong if you can get the tokens and a good totem spot. Granted, it gets destroyed pretty often, but on matches where it doesn't get destroyed you're gonna have a fun game as killer.

Survivor: Ds- Most red rank killers tunnel.

Killer: Bbq and chili- I'm a billy main.

Best when you actually get to use it, regardless of how rare it is?

Survivor: Unbreakable. If you can pick yourself up from the dying state, it can swing a game hugely.

    Killer: Devour Hope. No question.

Whispers and Spine Chill. They're great for beginners, and even experienced pros can use them effectively. SC is a great counter against stealth killers and can hinder ranged killers. Whispers is the one killer perk survivors cannot hide from no matter what, and with experience it can be used to accurately locate where survivors are.

Spine Chill is a must for me, not cause I need it against every killer, but because Myers is my kryptonite...

Survivor: Iron Will. I think it's the only perk I run on most of my builds, and it's probably the only perk that I /always/ get a chance to use. Never feels wasted, helps in hiding.

Killer: I'm All Ears. It's one of my favorite perks to run, and it really helps with looping. I don't know if I'd say it's the best perk, but it's super helpful to me when I play, and again it's one of the perks that I always get good use out of.

    Killer: Pop

Survivor: BT (or Kindred if solo survivor)

PGTW is infinitely useful on pretty much any killer to help slow the game down, and it rewards you for playing well. Some killers I can’t imagine playing without it else the game goes by too fast.

BT is prob the best survivor perk especially if you’re going up against a killer that tunnels, but just in general for endgame unhooking. At that point the killer wants to try and secure kills so he’ll most likely go for the unhooked and this buys the whole team enough time to get to exit gates.

Kindred is just great knowledge for solo survivors and aura reading for when you need it most, which is when someone is on hook. I solo survive and always use this perk in every build.
