Hackers on console????
So I heard about PC hackers getting in console servers but figured that was it and they probably couldn't hack. However just now I was in a game as Huntress and mind you I was at Green ping and they didn't seem to rubber band. I went to smack them and they just ######### pulled a flash and ran. I was like "Oh damn Sprint Burst" however their speed never stopped. They moved insanely fast the entire time and basically made it around shack and back to where I first found them before I even finished going around shack. Then were gone. Either their Sprint Burst bugged out or something was going on

It might not be PC hackers in this case. Did they have the crossplay globe icon next to their name in the endgame screen? If not then it was a bug. There was a bug that when a killer hits the survivor and they gained the temporary speed boost, the survivors maintained the boost until healed or downed.

Must've been that then. I figured it was something along those lines but just makes you wonder yknow. I don't usually say "hacker" since I play on console alot and it's near impossible to hack on there

Some PC hackers actually found a way to play against console players. There's a clip of some PS4 survivors facing a flying, speed hacking legacy Trapper that went through walls while carrying a survivor. I'm not sure whether I'm allowed to post it, though. It's on YouTube anyways.

I know this bug exists because I was playing against a doctor once on PC and he hit me and I ran at like 150% and never stopped so I just kept running and watched him just dissapear eventually but as soon as I stopped it was gone. I don't even know how to hack but I definitely kept running trying to figure out what was going on and almost lapped him eventually, lol.

mind telling me the video name so I can look it up?

So its a bug. Ok. On PS4 I have also seen it once and was wondering what the hell was going on

"meeting a hacker in dead by daylight - on PS4! (legacy, speedhack, wallhack...)"

Saw a similar post either yesterday or the day before about a Legacy nurse speedhacking on PS4.

There was a bug where you would constantly have a speed boost but they supposedly fixed it. Maybe they didn't COMPLETELY fix it, but I haven't seen it since the fix.
If you have a clip I would report it as a bug. You really can't hack on console (well at least on Xbox). You could on 360 by doing save file editing but AFAIK it's not possible on Xbox One. PS I think it might be possible, IDK, but I doubt anyone would be hacking on consoles in 2020 because MS/Sony can easily detect it and perma-ban the console.

Perhaps that means we're getting crossplay sooner than expected lol.

After watching the video...its a super clear hacker, lol. The guy wore full Legacy, teleported around as trapper while holding someone that would make Nurse jealous and litterally flew while holding someone (before burrowing underground so they could take a shortcut to the basement).

The nurse clip DID show the crossplay icon

I played a match earlier today on PS4 where another survivor was running significantly faster than me for an extended period of time. I attributed it to lag at that time, but seeing this makes me wonder.

I thought maybe it was a bug now y'all making me think it wasn't >.>

I'd really like to see this video because I don't believe it possible to hack console, especially not hack it to allow crossplay.

Guy above mentioned video name to look up

Ok I found it, yes that's hacks. But I know you can't hack on Xbox at least. PS is apparently way less secure.

Heres the video in question. Theres no naming involved so shouldnt be an issue. Skip to about 3:10 for the good part

There is actually a glitch/exploit in the game right now that allows nurse to go super fast.

Theres no Legacy cosmetics on console though... The person had to have hacked those in, in which case...it would be pretty easy to say the other weird stuff probably wasnt by accident.

Well it happened to me too. on Xbox One two survivors were healing instantly after I hit them. Phasing through walls, I couldn't snatch them off the gens, or gates. Dudes had Globe Icons.

I just played against a Steve that just started levitating every time I was about to hit him, but this one was actually an xbox player, so maybe there's also people exploiting glitches (?)
I recorded it, guess I'll be uploading it to youtube so I can show you

yes i played against one xbox speed hacker that was running faster than me and at the end he didnt have any sprint burst or dh as perks. 1 week ago i encountered the same hack on ps4 when i chased all the game the last survivor( a kate denston) and she was running faster than my tier3 myers and i couldn't get her. Reported 2 times in both consoles the different hackers. They are definitely hacking on consoles 100% sure and im sure alot of people dont notice it because they arent doing crazy hacks like the levitating trapper but they are increasing speed by 120 % so the killers cant notice it right away

It's most likely a bug I haven't heard of anyone successfully cheating/hacking on Console since the 360/ps3 era. Not looking forward to running into occasional Pc hackers once crossplay comes out.

Maye. DBD has a HUGE problem with hackers and the devs won't do anything because they don't want to lose money.

I played with 2 legacy speed hackers survivors on console too. The poor doctor tried to get them obviously with no success. They had steam accounts with multiple vac bans.
