Survivors who feel entitled to the hatch, why?
So before I start, let me say I know this isn't all survivors and I do give hatch fairly frequently. If someone DCs early or kills themselves on first hook I'll usually give last survivor hatch because I play survivor myself and I know how frustrating that can be. Also if it was just a really good game, no BM from either side and just generally "competitive," I'll let someone go if I am fortunate enough to win. Of course if someone teabags nonstop or clicky clicks then that goes out the window sorry.
But anyways just had a game where 2 were dead and I hooked the third but she was on second stage not death, the fourth instantly runs out in front of me and waits so I killed her. Post game she says,"I gave myself up and you killed me, D-move bro." Okay, so a couple points.
First, you gave up when your teammate still had life so NO you do not get hatch.
Second, you were a Blendette so NO you do not get hatch. This was further substantiated by the fact that the point totals for survivors were 12k, 10k, 9k and 7k guess who had 7000? Right, this blendette does the least all game, gives up before it's really over, and feels she deserves hatch? LAUGHABLE

Not sure about this one- I found I don't play like the others in the game, I play because it's fun and I'm a competitive person, so PvP gaming is right up my alley, and I'm an avid fan of horror.
Because I'm so competitive, I guess I don't think I'm entitled to the hatch? I just play how you're supposed to (no teabagging on my end either, at the end of a game I'll just leave, and as for clicky clicks I'm PISS POOR with flashlights, so I don't bring them or pick them up out of chests).
But the fact that some people think they are entitled to the hatch is mind-boggling, especially on a PvP game where the killer's main objective is to kill you.
Though I have to ask, why the Claudette hate? It baffles me that a simple avatar can invoke such hate.

Putting laughable at the end makes it sound like you wanna make an idiot of 'im,just saying.
1 -
The reason for that is because people hate that she’s to dark and can blend in better in maps then the rest of the characters.Another reason for people hating claudette is because she is used in what people call toxic by but dancing at the exit gates. But in reality any user who plays as any of the character does it they just don’t want to admit it so they blame Claudette mains.
3 -
The reason claudettes get the hate, well specifically Blendettes is because they are intentionally picking the darkest character in the darkest outfit for an advantage.
If it’s a Claudette in her pink or blue outfits, or even that awful dress then it’s different. I won’t go as far as to mori them, but if you ever watch Tofu stream he brings a mori anytime the lobby had a blendy in it

I mean I get it, but I don't. Why does it matter? If it helps to guarantee survival, which is the Survivor's main objective, why should they be persecuted for it?
That being said, my cousin plays as a Claudette because she relates to the character, being mixed ethnicity. Why should she have to wear the brightest clothing? It only makes them stick out, and that's kind of stupid and literally goes against their objective?
1 -
A little stupid, not gonna lie. What do they want them to do, wear the brightest outfits so that they get caught? It's like literally asking someone to stand in front of a murderer and not move or try to fight back.
But yeah, as for teabagging at the exit gate, I have seen more megs do it than claudettes- though, I've actually seen pretty much every character do it. I don't understand.

I don't find blendettes as triggering as other survivors, I will usually ensure that a p3 or p2 dwight will die at all costs.

As someone who plays as a Blendette, it's my main objective to not be found all match, but I don't lack empathy for my teammates, I'll go for the save if no else is and I'll do the gen, and if I get caught I for sure will loop the killer around for a bit. But if you get caught on a hook and it's just you and mean at 3 gens I'm not gonna come for you if the killer if proxy camping. Now if it was 1 generator, different story.

Play killer against a group of 4 blendettes on sanctum of wrath. Good luck.
I don't tunnel or bring moris when I see them. I may dodge a 4 claudette lobby. However, I'm not likely to let last one live if its a blendette. Also if 2 are left and I have decided to let one go I will 99% let there non claudette live.

Some will expect from you that you're passive once someone DCs.
I've had some encounters where, after someone left, they would literally run up to me and point and stuff, then run again once i hit them.

I myself never feel "entitled" to the hatch. I do however, feel that sometimes I have earned it, considering that I'm normally making good saves, healing where possible, hunting totems and all that stuff that I'm meant to do. UNFORTUNATELY the killer doesn't see me do all that, so they must assume that I'm another "Blendette" even though I just play stealth, or a random biker Kate with a meme build, or even a tryhard P3 Yui.

This is meant to you guys, but as a survivor I have sooo often been stuck with the worst blendettes. I see them self caring in a corner 5 times a game while people die in hook, never working gens, then end game you see they got like 2000 points. My killer side seeks revenge for my survivor half I guess lol

Trust me, as a killer we know. You can tell who’s not helping the team, generally, by their movements and position. BBQ is a big piece of this, if every time I hook someone I see one person hiding in a corner not even near any gens that’s a big giveaway.
If someone is a good looper and doesn’t teabag, for some reason I feel really really good about giving that guy/girl the hatch.

Ew self-care I'd much rather run spine chill.

I kinda don't see who's getting the good unhooks and healing, but I also play Pig and focus in generator protection.
I let my score speak for itself though, and I always prefer to earn a hatch, rather than be given it.

You realize alot of Claudette players use the darker clothes because of the irrational hate they get? Alot of killers will throw the game to ensure that the Claudette dies. Regardless of her outfit.
1 -
Yeah there are some builds which don't have bbq. So a killer might not really know that. Even if they do have bbq, the survivor might be close, might be hiding in a locker to avoid bbq effect. Hiding behind a gen, to hide. Going way one and than the other, to counter bbq effects. Even with the possible information you might of gotten from bbq, it can still not tell you the full picture of what happen during the match.

Because if I die instead of getting the hatch then the brave sacrifice of my teammates becomes meaningless, and my hard work crouchwalking around the map looking for it and letting them die on first hook does too.
3 -
Nobody is entitled to be given hatch. (Besides maybe a genuine Baby Dweet)
If the last survivor is given hatch or not is solely the killer's decision to make. Not the survivors.

Because of one man... You'll know him, he used to have massive influence over the community (similarly to Tru3 now, ironically) and he mained Claud.

I can see why that would be frustrating, since they're not even trying to help, but I rarely come across anyone like that in game. I guess it's because I'm usually green-yellow ranks (made it to purple ONE time 😭)
And to be fair, I don't actually know who you're on about. I don't watch Tru3 either. I used to watch Monto and Noob3, but now I mainly watch Otz.

Most of the times I am entitled to the hatch but my teamates claim I don't deserve it
Most of the time i fix 2 gens, the only gens that get fixed, while my team goes down in 10 seconds, and even then I unhook them
Some survivors deserve to be entitled to the hatch
while others don't

For the sake of you keeping your innocence, I won't tell you who I was referring to. It's good that the devs got rid of him though.

Sometimes the last survivor was the only one who made team effort while the others either DC'd, gave up, or made very poor plays. They feel like they deserve at least a better, not guaranteed nor high, chance of survival than two Exit Gates being on the same wall. 🙂

Yeah, you see it from time to time in games. Someone will kill themselves on first hook, dc when they get downed. Than the others go down in five seconds and the last remaining survivor, has to get all the saves, to let the game last longer than 5 minutes.

Thanks for understanding, typically I get the "Why should they be rewarded for fail" clichè response.
Yeah, I believe the last survivor should have a 25% chance to escape on average. 😁

For the same reason killers slug for the 4K, they feel they have put in so much effort
1 -
Yeah it’s staggering you see these blendettes most often at red rank, you would think it would be opposite and new players would be hiding

Most people forget to mention a ton of blendettes also do nothing but creep around the map and not help teammates, they pretty much go in to a game and urban evade the entire match and wait for the team to die to get hatch.
The sec it looks like a hard killer into a Bush they go.
Now not all Claudettes are like this mind you.
I personally never single anyone out if I play killer unless I see a key.

Yeah, for sometimes one person ends up screwing over the whole team at the start of the match. Like i saw someone once go bad game in post game chat. They were the person who killed themselves on their first hook vs a Myers who was just playing the game normally. So they screw over their whole team, stick around for post game chat just to bad mouth. Which sadly, i have way to many stories of someone dcing on first down or killing themselves on hook at the start of a match. Like the dwight, that failed to flash light save, try to loop the killer around in basement. Fails of course. Than they of course kill themselves on first hook. Even seen it while playing killer as well. Get someone down as Myers, first person to go down, hook the ace and they kill themselves while i'm walking away from the hook. On a corn map, they killed themselves vs a Myers on a corn map.

Yep, I’m not going to say “wear bright clothes or you’re cheating,” but when you notice the dark cloth Claudette in lobby I’m ready to bet money that post game I see at least 3 out of these 5 perks... Urban Evasion, iron will, fixated, spine chill and Sprint burst. They also tend to bring the more fog offering
