Because he doesn't need one imo. He has the right amount of feedback and windows to offer the right amount of counterplay without it being easy, but the map pressure and chase potential to keep up with survivors. He's not piss-easy to learn, but also not so obnoxiously difficult you're buggered if you try to learn him. He's in the perfect spot rn, and I wish other killers would be brought up, or down, to his level (spirit, I beg).

I had actually mentioned that to Clicky in another thread. I even invited them to share some footage of EZ mode Billy, since EZ mode means anyone can do it. They dodged it, and nothing ever came of that...well, I mean, something did, but nothing in the conversation.

I personally think the carb tuning guide should stay and just be made ultra rare. The other charge addons should go. It's only when they stack that they become so powerful.

im a survivor main but i also main nurse when i play killer with 3100 hours in the game. nurse nerfs were justified and shes still the best killer in the game. this delusional mindset needs to be dropped

I think Hillbilly is fine as is. He's strong but he's definitely not OP. While he may not have a cooldown he's still easy to dodge and every map has stuff you can hide behind in case he's charging towards you. He's also super loop able and really the only time the chainsaw is a threat is when he gets you out in the open or when you messed up.

Sometimes I pray that the "nerf billy" bandwagon is just some people making a joke or baiting, but it seems that you are not baiting, so here's what to do:
- Learn how to loop him (drop pallets a bit earlier etc.)
- Learn good positioning
- Learn popular curves by watching any good billy main, I recommend battleguy and ryanpez
Then his power becomes useless in a chase. If you're still complaining then you're complaining a killer is strong, which is a you problem.

It's not about getting downed, it's about him being able to cover the entire map in a matter of seconds indiscriminately. Maybe if he had a small cool down on his chainsaw, he would have to make some decisions about the map vs downing. Without a cool down, he has unlimited discretion and can basically teleport across the map faster than anyone.

No cool down needed, you can already get enough distance from him when he misses the chainsaw hit and you want him to keep trying to use that saw and missing. If he lands the hit though a cool down is meaningless because you're already down.

He already does have a cooldown you noob.
So tell me what do these add ons do? They decrease the cooldown which you do not even know exists, literally learn at least the basics of the killers before you cry for nerfs out of ignorance and missing knowledge.

Not at all, but with that said even if I thought a killer was strong doesn't necessarily signify I'm unable to go against them successfully. That's the wrong assumption and that's the problem with a lot of discussions here. Just because someone disagrees with something or thinks it's too strong doesn't mean they don't know how to counter or deal with it. And I didn't even say any of that, but I do think his movement with his power is very compelling.

What problem? You being noob at the game cause you are unable to move? OP wants a cooldown which already exists, not so long ago you wanted that ######### as well.
There are so many ways to dodge the saw of him so I don't know of any problem.

Again wrong wrong wrong. We now call this ClickyClicky instead of wrong.
LF doesn't have a huge cooldown either, they both lose movement speed while charging the chainsaw and they both are "stunned" while hitting an object which is not a survivor.
Do I have to pull out the addons again? Or a billy guide or idk what do you need? Maybe you play the game for a bit actually so you learn what is in it and so on?

Billy is literally the only killer able to 4k reliably in red ranks that's because hes not trash like all the other killers
i think there are some changes that could be made to Billy like removing the "insta saw" addons they are boring to play with and boring to play against

LF slows down more than Billy and LMAO at you trying to compare Billys stun to Leatherface’s stun. One has a small cooldown from it the other has a massive tantrum where they swing the chainsaw wildly and the player has very little control over their character in this period.
The fact that you’re trying to play them off as the same shows how disingenuous you’re being.

You said billy has none of that which is ClickyClicky. Billy chainsaw can actually be used for mindgames which doesn't work with bubba because it was made so stupid.
Both stuns give the survivor the opportunity to get away from both of them, unless ofc it is a locker situation in which case bubba gets a free grab, which billy doesn't. Both have little to no control during that time.
You don't even understand why people dislike bubba, take for example his charge bar that is the biggest off putting thing about bubba.
You know the thing is how to make bubba more viable and not how to bring billy down to meme bubba lvl.

In terms of playing the game...about 5 days ago I was having this same conversation with him. He went on and on about how Hillbilly was "EZ mode". Long story short, I asked him to kindly, with the tools of modern video cards that have capture hardware built right into them, record himself being this EZ mode Billy at red ranks. No response. Next thing I know, well, let's just say my forum account is limited because apparently asking for proof of something is harassment.
Also - as per the rules, this post breaks none of them.

You could do a radical thing called "learn counterplay" It's scary but I'll walk you through the steps.
1: Find a loop/jungle gym.
2: loop him till he gives up or he M1's you too death.
Sarcasm aside, Billy is incredibly easy to counter, and if you went down too his chainsaw it's your own fault in either bad positioning or bad mindgames. Stop trying too nerf all the good killers because you don't want too learn counterplay.

OK, number 1:
Map pressure makes or breaks a killer. If they can't get to you from one side of the map to another in a good amount of time, then they simply won't find you at all and they are considered a bad killer.
Number 2:
Billy has a cool down on his power. It's 3 seconds long which is enough for his purpose. He's supposed to be this 'gotta go fast' killer that get from one place to another quickly, hence his ability name 'chainsaw SPRINT'. Having a really long cool down in his power defeats it's purpose of creating map pressure. If you can't play against him heres some tips. Don't throw pallets down instantly at strong loops, jungle gyms make his power useless, instead of going for a 360, just do a 180 and dead hard if you need to, and stop whining about balanced killers on the forums. Kinda getting annoying at this point.

Imagine calling killer who literally one-shot with almost no cooldown and not swinging his chainsaw anywere close to survivor balanced. Oh yeah and also that silly ability to drift around the map. Gotta press "doubt" on that.

I don't think that's true. I've never seen high rank survivors complain about Billy. He's the definition of loopable. I don't think he deserves changing.

First thing I thought when I saw the topic was "is there some bug or ptb add-on that gives no cool down?" Lol. Billy has a cooldown that feels like ages when you are him. He can't do anything but walk during it too. If you think something is OP, just play that instead. If nothing else it gives you insight into how to counterplay.

Just remove his chainsaw. I think that chainsaw is too OP. While we at it...lets make Myers slower in tier 3 ...just keep him at tier 1 speed.

I like the fact that he has add ons that make his chainsaw faster like every other killer, where you get a little advantage for burning add ons but the fact that he has zero cooldown, unlike every other killer with an instadown is totally bs... Every other killer either has to build up power to the instadown or has some sort of cooldown and Billy is one of the original characters and still has zero cooldown? It's the players who know how to use him and are good that show how broken this is....Or at least give him a limit to how far he can travel, because as of now even a trash Billy like myself can do very well when hardly trying. A slight cooldown is necessary because his map pressure can be a little ridiculous especially against experienced players

in all honesty he's an OP Oni who has to collect orbs to instadown and even then it takes so much skill to actually hit a survivor with his power.... I actually feel like Oni's power is more of a hindrance to try the instadown rather than use him as an M1 killer

Why does he need a Cooldown? Hillbilly gets looped all the time. His power is basically to capitalize off of you being out positioned where you can still attempt to juke and spin to throw him off even when out positioned. It takes skill to land the hit and avoid the hit it’s not free unless you make it free. Bait pallets and know the pallets or windows that are around sooner or later he will have to just hit you or lose the game to try to get the one shot. That’s why the scariest hillbillies are the ones who hit at loops. I would really suggest relying on windows and baiting pallets or even dropping them early if need be but maybe look at how you are playing before crying out for a nerf. It seems killers who require a different set of skills to outplay seem to be considered “OP” just like nurse and spirit. Change up how you loop hillbilly and I am sure you will find more success.
