What build are you going to run on pyramid head?
I am curious, from watching gameplay, my build would go like this. Play with your food, I'm all ears, corrupt intervention, and infectious fright. I picked play with your food since it is an amazing chase perk that not much player expect. I picked I'm all ears, so when a survivor vaults a window I can hit them with my ranged attack through a window. Corrupt intervention is there to slow down generators. Infectious fright will be great because you can quickly cage someone and move on to your next target with infectious. What will you run?

Slowdown builds seemed to work well on him on the PTB so I will probably try those first, then maybe branch out a bit once I'm used to his playstyle.

I'm not really the type of person to run a full build, where all of the perks do one thing like slow down generators.

I'm not sure I'm interested in playing as him but I definitely will look for utility in urban evasion against him.

Hard to say since bbq and pop doesn’t work on him, probably gonna try out ruin corrupt thana monitor.

I had a fun time using a sort of Undetectable build for Pyramid Head when I was trying out the PTB. The perks I was able to unlock for him were Dark Devotion, Nurse's Calling, Deathbound, and Pop Goes the Weasel. With some modifications, this could turn out to a be a serviceable build, allowing you to really get the drop on survivors with Dark Devotion and Nurse's Calling. I'll keep these two perks in my build and experiment with the other two perk slots to form a true "Spooky Pyramid Head" build.
I'd like to point out that Play with your Food actually does lose stacks when using the ranged attack (Punishment of the Damned), since it's capable of dealing damage and is therefore considered a "Special Attack" according to the perk. That said, Play with your Food is always a good ace-up-your-sleeve perk that can throw off survivors that don't expect you to be 5-15% faster than normal, so I would keep trying it out to see if it works for you.

I picked play with your food since your ranged attack won't count as an offensive action, meaning I can build up stacks from my obsession.
Sounds like an oversight, tbh. You might wanna test it when PH comes out, because they might probably change that for the live version.

I will play him different I think I will use pop, bbq, I’m all ears and enduring I think so I can try and get close to them on pallets etc to try for one hit and I will hook the survivors normally but use torment cages just to counter d strike .

Thanks, I thought you couldn't lose stacks, but I will still run it as it's an amazing chase perk.

I think i will try: Discordance, Ruin, Surveillance and mabye Deathbound. I might switch Deathbound for something else.
If it turns out im not using the cages that often i might go for: BBQ, Pop and whatever two other perks. Mabye surge if i still want to use the cages sometimes and can't get my pop.

A mixture of chase, slowdown and tracking should still be possible. I'm all ears might help with your ability. He could be good with STBFL as well, even though it might limit your option, when you M1 or special attack. With slowdown you have many possibilities.Dying Light, new Ruin, Corrupt, whatever you prefer. Hook perks like Pop and BBQ aren't that bad on him as well. You can still decide to hook instead, if you need your Pop.
I think you will find a diverse and mixed option for him.

They do work on him, you won’t be always using your cages, I’ll use pop on him or corrupt, along with STBFL and infectious. Maybe I’m all ears

Surge would be pretty great on him.

you wont always use your cages is right..but you wont always use your hooks eithers
so it reduces the usage you will get out of those perks ..taking BBQ and it been used once in the game is a bit of a waste if ur caging everyone
think its probably better to decide before a match will you try to use cages all the time or not at all and have a consistant build around that
gen slowing build did seem the best from what ive seen ppl play and form what ive tried aswell

but they are still of use on him not useless, You choose if its best to hook or cage, that’s why I love PH he is so versatile

I will not run any Hook Perks even tho I think that most Pyramid Heads will go for Hooks over Cages. Thinking about Surge as Slowdown Perk, M&A, Infectious Fright (sending to a Cage is fast and better than slugging) and then maybe Enduring or Whispers.

BBQ, monitor, infectious fright, discordance.
I think this will be my normal build.

I'm going Pop, BBQ, Whispers and I'm All Ears / M&A
Haven't decided between I'm All ears and M&A yet.

I will be using:
-Dead Mans Switch
-Forced Penance
-Hex: Haunted Grounds
-No One Escapes Death
"But Waffle this builds sounds terrible why would you use it!?"
Why you ask? Simple! They are all triangle perks!
".......You're a genius!"

corrupt seems good, and I'm all ears should be great since he can hit through walls, so it will give him a target. PGTW could still be useful if hooking is convenient, But If I end up deciding not to hook people, maybe Sloppy Butcher?

Kinda regretting passing on I'm all ears on the shrine last month.. oh well.
I'm thinking of M&A, Infectious fright + Corrupt. 4th being whatever entity decides to bless or mock me with.
