Bubba and Claudette.
I've seen many people in past forums say that bubba's claudette themed face is racist. What do you think? I personally think that it's fine considering they did it for all 4 original survivors. It'd be weird for dwight, Jake and meg to have them but not claudette. Also it's part of his story and character. I see where people can find it racist but I just personally don't.

It would be racist for him to not use claudettes face. It would make colour a factor in who's face he chooses to wear which isn't right.
Bubba doesn't discriminate.

Exactly. Bubba doesn't discriminate since he doesn't see colour, he only sees people. Even if we have a Meg and 3 Blendettes who brought a Dead Dawg Saloon offering.. then Bubba will be fair in getting his 4k lol

If we REALLY wanted to go down this road, then Bubba wearing Jake's face could also be considered racist as Jake is partly Asian.
Suzie and Anna could also be done in for cultural appropriation too with their Lunar New Year skins.
If people are so sensitive about this sort if thing, then maybe a game where the goal for one team is to enact the slasher movie audiences' desires on the cast isn't a game for them.

Leatherface's changing of masks is sometimes depicted as his way of 'selecting' a personality or role to temporarily use, which he's otherwise incapable of expressing. Also if someone killed and ate a black woman irl and literally wore her face I doubt the biggest problem people would have is that's it's a racially insensitive look.

Where did people say this? Point them out, please. I've been here for over 14k posts and only saw people claim that they saw others say it was racist, but nobody's been able to pony up some proof.

I was just trying to gather opinions. There have been instances in the past where people wear blackface in Comic-con and they get banned from the competition. I highly doubt they was doing it to be racist yet they still get banned from it.

Bubba will kill everyone equally. He just has all the OG faces. It’d be kind of problematic to not include her. Either way they tackled it it would be problematic.

This is being thrown around as if someone simply wore "blackface" to a comic con, that is simply not true.
Someone in costume was being a "dog" and painted their face brown to go with the costume, no one wore blackface to a comic con, it was literally a dog costume. A bit of a reach to compare that to actual Hollywood created blackface. Dressing up as a dog isnt the same thing as blackface.

I'm Black. I'm female. I love Bubba. It isn't racist. Bubba literally collects all faces because he wants to collect attributes he feels he lacks. People would know that if they bothered to watch any of the movies of read any research about serial killers (both real life and fictional) and understand the psyche of this type of group of people. If anyone says it's racist please link my post.

Bubba doesn't discriminate against colour, he steals skin of anyone regardless of who they are.
It certainly isn't racist, however it would come across racist if Jake, Meg and Dwight had their faces on Bubba except Claudette.

But I will tell you Texas Chainsaw Massacre was not only banned in numerous countries but most theaters refused to outright show it and the governor of Texas even went so far as to ban the director, producer, and most of the actors from entering the state for some time. And when people found out there were supposed to be Black actors in the film but they were later canned (as seen in deleted scenes on the betamax tapes that were floating around at the time) people REALLY lost their #########. It's still the most controversial film today right behind Clockwork Orange.

Added: Places like Brazil banned ot due to gore, but later unbanned it.... nothing to do with racism. In addition, I dont think a governor can ban a US citizen from living in his birth state. Tobe Hooper was born in Texas and I cant find any info on him being "banned from Texas" what you are saying sounds like rumors tbh.

- I said the deleted scenes caused more stir on top of the initial film hence why you could only see the seens on betamax for extended period of time and now you can probably scrounge around and find a collectors edition DVD.
- A governor can most certainly ban people from a state if they feel like they are a threat to public safety or their presence in the state will be harmful to it's citizens in any way shape or form. Literally look at New York, Arizona, California, or literally any other state, country, or province. Hell we're in the middle of an epidemic and most governors are banning people in droves from entering the state until they are cleared. Prime Example, R. Kelly and Justin Bieber, Katy, Perry, Beyonce, and Ke$ha are all banned from several states in the US for several reasons.
