Was Pyramid Head shadow-nerfed?
Only just noticed this today and certainly don't remember it being this way on the PTB - on the live version right now, attempting to surround hooks or generators with your Rites Trail isn't possible because it simply just disappears after 2 seconds of being there. Hooks I can understand, but not being able to surround generators? The same thing goes for exit gates, you're not able to place a Rites Trail in front of the lever, yet Trapper can freely set a trap underneath it? I don't understand the logic behind it, and definitely don't remember this being the case on PTB.

I mean Trapper has limited traps and needs to find them on the map. They can be quickly disarmed. Not really a fair comparison. Trapper also cannot trap right under the hook btw

I'm wondering the same thing. I plant my trail and sometimes, some places it disappears instantly. Is there a limit to how much spikes can be on the map at any given time? Are certain objects barb wire free zones?

I'm on about Trapper trapping the exit gates. They can be quickly disarmed, as to which the killer is given a visual and audio notification when it's been disarmed. With Rites, it too gives the killer a visual and audio notification once you walk over it, then disappears so I just wouldn't understand why you wouldn't be able to use Rites on the exit gates?

These are all good questions that could use a better explanation. I imagined there was a limit to the amount of spikes you could place and tried playing it conservatively... Maybe too much so? Is there a limit? Would seem very strong without one

I'm not sure, but it's definitely a lot longer than 2 seconds. If you have him, try using it out in the open, away from hooks and generators, then compare how long it lasts next to generators and you'll see what i'm on about

Not just that but the M2 attack seems to have a bigger cooldown if you hit/miss the attack, felt way better on the PTB, now PH feels slightly weaker than it was, also maybe this is a bug but when I put the trails I get the "killer instinct" notification thing but survivors don't get tormented

Well havent played the live version yet, but this was a thing on the ptb as well. Cant tell if the zones are bigger than before, just watched a few streamers play him.
Also seems like that the "basement hook zone" covers a bit of the basement stairs. At least they disappeared mid way very quick but bottom/top was still there.

Stairs make it disappear faster or almost instantly.

Exit Gates was like that during PTB.
Generators, I don't remember, but I do remember you weren't able to block off Exit Gates.

I believe it was this way on the PTB, hooks, gens, and gates were no-no zones for Trails but now I think you can't place Trails on stairs and ramps for some reason. That might be an actual shadow nerf. If I'm wrong correct me.

It was that way in the PTB.
What changes is that survivors don't make any sounds anymore.
