Hatch under biomass on New Map

I wasn't there myself so I don't have the logs, posting for them.

As you can see in the clip, the hatch is under the biomass not allowing survivors to escape. However at the end of the clip that killer can still close it.
Killers if you notice this happening in situations where the last survivor alive would have clearly had the hatch, please take pity on them.

My friend had the same issue. She couldn't go in but the killer could close it.
